Cliff Avril's 2 year/15 last year seems about right where Demarcus should be aiming I would imagine. I'm sure they will ask for more and bargain , but 3 years and somewhere between 21 and 24 million seems like its win win landing spots for both sides.

I don't know you at all, but my impression is that you get great joy from wishing ill for this team and like to perceived as being right more than you like Dallas actually succeeding. And you completely missed the point I was trying to make. You still think they can't make the playoffs next year even though they had a historically bad defense and still should have made it. If last year's team could go 8-8, I see no reason that this year's team can't do a lot better. But that's just me and i could be very wrong about your ideas.

The team could be better and still have a worse record. Playing the NFC West can easily result in 3 losses. Division games are always a toss up, throw in NO, Chi and who knows what the AFC South will bring.
