NFLN Ticker: Raiders to waive Deangelo Hall..

Wonder if all the idiots that said this piece of garbage was so good will now admit their mistake.
ha ha

Pro Bowl = talk about pathetic

This truly underlines how little pro bowl means anymore

(of course us stinking so bad with 13 on the roster underlines it even MORE)

As far as I know, Dallas was never interested in De Angelo Hall.. That is a flat-out BS....

because he's a lousy player and a team cancer...I prefer our young guys to this clown, I'm sure our front office will too
we trade for players that need babysitters, what number do you think Hall will wear?

maybe seeing a Commander WR run by him for a 60 yd TD and then seeing 1000 posts of "I told you so"

Is that really any worse than watching them do it to the guys we've already got?

Apparently it means the world to the Giants. They're still pissed off at the world about not having enough Pro Bowlers.

I don't recall it ever being reported but I can't say that I'd assume that means anything. Just because I didn't hear about it doesn't really mean a thing.

I remember when the Pro Bowl meant a lot around here, like 9 months ago.

I have no idea, but it wont be a number on our team

Well if he wound up here, and I'm not saying he will, but if he did it will be 21 cause it means that Jones ain't coming back regardless of what happens with his suspension.

which after I posted this I just realized might have been the point of your question. lol

No thanks on Hall.

I'd rather have Ty Law.

But I don't think Jerry is looking for a CB right now.

Wonder if Al Davis will hold a press conference and put his love letters to D-Hall on an overhead projector for all to see? Maybe he'll say he's waiving him "for cause."

:laugh1: That was the wackiest presser I've ever seen

:bang2: :bang2: :bang2: For all the fans who say that if the Cowboys sign DeAngelo Hall it would be a bad idea need to really have a reality check. And what I mean is that he is not a bad corner, plus our secondary really needs help... So what if he couldn't make it with the Raiders they are garbage anyway, plus they are in alot of turmoil and as far as the Falcons go they aren't any better... Yea and go ahead and say he is another Pacman Jones, as far as Pacman goes he is not bad either he just needs a little help and he will be fine..... Stop being so quick to say someone is garbage give the man a chance....But anyway come on Jerry lets talk to Al Davis and get this thing going so we can salvage the rest of our season.

the only thing i have to say is, why the hell everytime theres a free agent, dallas has to pop up? geez.

I would rather stick it out with Pac man. There really isn't any difference between the two outside of Adam's suspension record and D Falls on the field antics. Both highly over rated IMO with D. Fall making rookie mistakes all the time.

He's not a free agent. He has a 6 and a half year contract that's still valid, just with no more accelerated cap hits attached if the team that claims him were to waive him (Oakland ate that signing bonus of 10 mil).

When I think of DeAngelo Hall, I think of Eddie Royal pwning him in Week 1

Our secondary i fine. Newman is coming back and Pacman may or may not, but we also have two quality rookies and Henry still. Ball has looked serviceable, and we've got a bunch of picks to get another guy if we choose to next year. The LAST thing we need is another highly paid player in our secondary that may not be able to carry his weight.

Whether he should be here or not (and I think the guys is way, way overrated), it better not surprise anyone if Jerry goes sniffing around. It's what Jerry does.

thats funny to me

EDIT: "to" be waived...excuse me
I think if the Adam Jones issue were clear (whether he's gonna get to play again or not) it'd make a difference.

Trash or not, Dallas' 2ndary could use depth, even if it is Burned Toast

Unless Hall is on suspension watch by Goodell or if he has documented off the field issues, then why not wait until he passes through waivers and negotiate the vet min with him?

Don't think any teams will bite on his crazy salary. If the Cowboys sign him, what could it hurt, he could not be any worse than Ball, Butler or Brown. And he's a heckuva lot younger than Ty Law. And I'm one who advocated working Law out.

Dallas needs help on D, wherever they can find it, on the sidelines or on the field.
