He deserved the nickname "Concrete Charlie." That is one of the baddest men to ever snap a chinstrap.

It was all of that ...plus!:D

Thanks.

Yes, the guy makes plays on the field and was a driving force behind Blitzburgh winning the Superbowl.
I agree, he was the best defensive player in the league last year. I don't know how his stats were but he made a lot of gamechanging plays last year.

Name one player Troy Palomalu (sp?) has ever knocked out of a game, then we'll talk about who's the hardest hitter.

I cant answer that but I dont disagree with him being ONE OF THE hardest hitters. If you are trying to put Roy Williams in this category I dont think it will go. He does knock people out but its illegal and ends up breaking someone's leg. There is a difference between hard hitters and clean hard hits.

Show me one illegal hit.

Show me one dirty hit Roy has made.

Ronnie Lott himself has said that Roy is the player that reminds him of himself the most.

Pretty good authority.

I love it when guys say crap with no facts to back it up.

2004 was the horse collar tackel illegal? A simple yes or no will suffice.

Just one? How about that hit on Coles you guys like to brag about so much. If you go back and look at it, you would see that the reason Coles dropped like a sack of potatoes and stayed down is because Roy, the dirty hitter that he is, hit him helmet to helmet.

But hey, dont take my word for it. The NFL fined him 7500 for it.

Look at it closely. Helmet to chest and even Coles said so.

I did. The top of his helmet smashed into Coles' facemask.

Have you ever been hit so hard that you were knocked out? In seventh grade, while playing basketball I went up for a rebound against MUCH bigger and older players. The next thing I know is I'm on the ground with a piece of my tooth chipped off and the crowd saying 'oooooooohh'.

My point is when you get knocked out like Coles did you dont really remember much.

You are going to talk about you dont remember too much when you get knocked out? Then you procede with a "when I was in 7th grade" story. Btw...That cant be the real story right? Because you was knocked out and you dont really remember much from being knocked out?

Everyone knows the league likes to give out stupid fines. Woodson got a dumb one a several years back...Dumb fines happen. I'm sure the Skins have received some before.

I knocked people out, I didn't get knocked out. I had a concussion on more than one occasion though.

His helmet hits Coles square in the chest first. Momentum takes it up his chest into the facemask. If you call that illegal we'll agree to disagree. It was a hard hit, but it was not an illegal one. Even Coles said so and I'm sorry his opinion means more to me than yours does.

Yea Taylor and Portis got fined for wearing different socks but Williams got fined for a helmet to helmet hit. That is different. If you look at the play closely, you will see where the top of Williams' helmet hits Coles' facemask.
