NHL Playoffs

FlyerFan prefers fights to goals and brawls to wins.

Just keep underestimating us like the Capitals and the Penguins before you.

You might also keep in mind we won game 1 two years ago before you won the next four.

And re chasing Halak, he was chased in game 1 last series and game 3 in the Capitals one and we all know how they turned out.

No one is underestimating Montreal. Flyer fans like physical play and want to win and that includes scoring goals. I expect a long series that will go at least 6 or 7. Either team can win.

Montreal is peppering the Flyers with shots tonight. I hope they hang on as a 2-0 series lead would be nice.

no offense there, buck-o.....but your team hasn't even SCORED yet. and that third goal was especially weak. Halak looks like he has no confidence. Take a split in Montreal and I'll be psyched.

Flyers look like champions right now.

Can't say enough how important Gagne is to this team, and also the power play is absolutely deadly.

Love it. GO FLYERS!!!

We haven't scored yet? No way, I never knew.

Your career scrub in nets cannot keep this up.

and 3-0 couldn't be erased. sooner or later people will stop doubting and start accepting.

...and montreal with the home ice bounce. not all that shocking. Just gimmie the split, baby.

The flyboys had a pretty bad game...

Everybody but Leighton had a bad game.

Ugh, another shutout. Been a fan for 43 years and never seen that happen, especially against a guy who has spent most of his career in the minors.

Anyway, I will stick with them until the bitter end and cheer them on Monday night in the hope they can extend it for at least six games.

Its the Pronger effect.

Sigh, the season is now over. Too bad because all of Canada was pulling for the Canadiens who along with the Leafs could be labelled Canada's Team.

Losing Markov probably ended our shot and we relied on too few guys as we had too many top forwards who didn't score.

Anyway, it was a nice almost seven week run for the Canadiens that was pretty unexpected.

Never fails though, we were killed by guys we should have or could have drafted. In 2003, should have taken Carter or Richards, instead we took Bustitsyn. Then in 2006, we could have had Giroux and took some piece of crap who stayed four years in university.

The Flyers just were not going to lose. Now against Chicago, that will be a challenge.

Yes, Chicago will be tough. I hope the Flyers have 4 more playoff victories in them.

what a ride this has been! I'm very proud of my Flyers!!! Chicago will be tough, but this team appears to be able to overcome anything.

sucks to score 5 and lose, but I think it's apparent that the Flyers came to play.

First Flyers Cup win in 23 years, and hopefully it's the one that turns the tide. Ladies and gentlemen......we have a series!
