They're just like the NFL in that regard. It's disappointing.

In the next couple of years, there is going to be a team in both Seattle and Vegas...I think it's just a matter of time. Hopefully it means a couple of teams just move, but I bet it will be expansion.

Actually, it almost has to be expansion to make sure that the conferences are even.

I do not think, they are the powerhouse, which is the NFL. There are a couple teams, if not a few, that are not doing well, Florida and Phoenix to name a couple. From my understanding, they want one in LV, Seattle, and Toronto, and I think 1-2 more in Canada. Which makes not sense. And also, which expansion, comes thinning the talent out, and inflating contracts of average to below average players. I do not get it.

Seattle i could see being popular with hockey, but Llas Vegas? Really? If it was up to me i'd get rid of the Coyotes and Panthers.

Problem is that now the conferences are unbalanced. You only have to be top eight of fourteen out west but top eight of sixteen in the east to make the playoffs.

Either move two teams or add two. It is unfair to the eastern teams.

I'm making a case that the Stars are the 2nd worst team in the NHL right now besides Buffalo. Disgrace to hockey how their defense is playing. Jordie Benn is the worst player in the NHL right now, 2nd is Lindback. Get Tyler Myers from Buffalo.... Do something!

They aren't that bad, but they are certainly in a rut. They need help on defense badly, but we'll see what they do.

I'm a HUGE stars fan, but something has to give. Right now, I blame Ruff for a myriad of reasons.

Their roster is weak on defense, no doubt, but you cannot win with the forward group they have because they simply don't defend. Other than Jamie Benn, I don't know that they have a capable two way forward.

Spezza is extended for 4 more years! Great news!

Now that we have the center position solidified it's time to start fixing the defense... which Nill just shook around by trading Dillon for Demers and a 3rd. I like the trade; we get RHD which we had none of until Klingberg (who has looked fantastic) was called up. I think it was a good trade for both teams. Both players still have upside and needed a new environment as they were each regressing this year. We'll see how it goes. Really we just need to let all the young defensemen we just brought up continue to grow (Oleksiak, KLINGBERG, and Jokipakka). It's going to take some time.

The Stars absolutely suck. There's no more excuses. I'm tired of us losing when we have the best player in the NHL right now on our team. Some change needs to be made. Demers trade ain't cutting it.
