No offense but unless you can't read its not hard to understand which part of your gibberish makes sense. All this stuff your saying about Philly is wrong and who cares about being "overshadowed" by NY? We are Philly and they are NY who cares? Actually Philly population is increasing and has been for years now soo wrong again and AC is 90minutes away not 20. The city is going through change but keep on believing what you must to feel better. Also lastly since you seem too emotional to understand I'm a Cowboys fan buddy or else I wouldn't post here. Maybe you have time to troll but I have better things to do with my time than register at other teams sites and wait for a thread like this to talk but apparently that's what your genius has surmised I'm doing.

I hear you but its silly and honestly makes those people no better than the people they claim are so bad. I can never get that. I agree but I will add most people period aren't intelligent about sports so that's why I feel that's silly to act like Cowboys fans are all knowing when they have similar traits to any other fan base. If people say forget the eagles I'm all for it but the cheap shots about Philly well that's where we part ways lol.

The worst thing about Philly is that they now wear the 'jerk' tag as a badge of honor.

It is like they have to out jerk the previous guy to show civic pride.

I also find it hilarious that out of all the athletes that have played there, the most famous statue is fictional character, Rocky.

You really believe that the city as a whole wear the "jerk" tag as a badge if honor? Guess people will believe anything as long as it fits their narrative. Sad but hey most people don't even have interaction with "Philly" fans outside the net or some horror story so don't know why I'm expecting people esp online to not run with stereotypes and presentations @JoeBoBBY on why Philly is so bad. My apologies for expecting more but thanks for being civil and have a great day/night.

I live in Ocean City, MD and grew up outside of Baltimore. My sister went to Villanova and I have visited Philly a dozen times, so I have had plenty of interactions with Philly fans and people.

I also have seen games up and down the East Coast and the fans at the Vet and the Linc are hands down the worst. Worse than Baltimore, Washington, NY, Boston.

You aren't exactly unbiased yourself so your expectations aren't really valid.

Well, with all due respect, the data and statistics aren't based in stereotypes or presentations...They are based in numbers.

over 430k of the roughly 1.5 million residents, count as below the "federal" poverty line. That is a lot of people! And the federal poverty line is a joke. That cut-off line should be much greater then what it is....So, there are probably hundreds of thousands more people just as poor, or close to it , as what the federal poverty line indicates. And the cases of suicide rates, anti-depressant sales, reports of depression, among the highest in the country....That isn't a stereotype or a bias opinion. Those are facts!

And the results of those facts manifest themselves, in a visibly and overwhelmingly way to anybody visiting the city...

Scandrick "I think it's kind of funny to me that somebody can hate you so much but they don't even know you"

NFL Network woman (I honestly forget her name) "Yea, well that's Philadelphia, get used to it"

why are you guys so fearful of philly. I don't get it.

I went to a Dallas game at the Vet on a Monday Night. I was with 2 college age girls, including my sister and could have got into a 100 fights if I was stupid. I wasn't, so I kept my head and my mouth shut.

You can think you are a tough guy but you aren't going to win a fight against 40k drunk idiots. DAL lost pretty bad, so overall I would say it was the worst game day experience I ever had.

I have been to over 8 cowboys/eagle games in philly and never once even remotely almost got into fight. They usually just pick out jacka$$ from other teams. Sure there will be exceptions but as long as your not drunk and saying stuff back and just watch game...your fine.

Then you have had better experience than most. It must be your non-jackassedness.

Uh, what?
First of all, do you have a source for this?
Second, how does that rate of poverty compare to other major cities?
Philadelphia is a beautiful city. You guys all sound really, really stupid right now. I hate the Eagles probably more than anyone here. But to attack the city as a whole is a joke, and makes you look every bit as bad as the ones you are attacking.

I goto the game every year and never had a problem even while riding the orange line to/from the games. For the most part if you don't do stupid things you will avoid trouble period. I have trash talk with the fans and them with me and never been close to any type of altercation.

Im not unbiased because I say people should judge individuals not big groups? Ok you've got me. I guess your expectations are really valid though? You haven't had enough interaction because living here as a Cowboys fan I've never had this problem and either has any of the other Boys fans I know but like I said people always find a few bad things and make that the norm.

Uh, google it. The city itself has setup programs trying to deal with the problem. These are the reported numbers done by census counts, and independent third party research.

But , like I said. You dont need to see those numbers. Just visit the city. For those who have actually traveled around to different parts/cities in the country, its overwhelming how odd, depressed and mentally unstable Philly is. Homeless and mentally ill people just wondering around the streets like nomads, Dirty. Confused. And day by day people.

To say Philly is a beautiful city...what are you comparing it to? Give us a city in the US that is worse off then philly. Det, Newark, some really depressed mid-sized cities in the northeast and midwest. But for large metropolitans. Its Detroit then Philly. And the stats prove it.

That has nothing to do with Football. Those are facts.

I'm from Philly. I've been to many cities. There is not one Texas city I'd rather live in. Not a fan of rednecks.
Please provide me a source for your claims - you made the claim, back it up.
There are a ton of cities worse off than Philly. Actually over a ton. You don't even know the difference between "then" and "than" - Texas education.

It's also a very historic city.

A good friend of mine took his 10-year-old son to a game there, and they poured beer on his kid when Dallas clinched the game, and they walked out.

There's a jail in the stadium for crying out loud, and it's full of people every game.

I'm a history dork, so I'll step over all the homeless people to go see Independence Hall and Ben Franklin's place, but the smell hits you like a freight train.

i for won will enjoy the implosion of the Eagles after Chip Kelly is through with his manipulations and waivings and ignorant doings.
The only thing is I hate to not hate the Eagles now that they will be on a downward spiral. Like Ward Bond say, keep the wagons moving we half to put distance between here and Philthydelphia.
