No, my wife and I were actually heading out on our honeymoon. (it's been almost 9 years ago now) We were just passing through Philly back to NYC and then taking a flight out of the country. We didn't come back for close to three weeks. As soon as we got back, we were in negotiations to purchase our home / close on it. By the time everything had settled down, it had been over two months so I ended up just letting it go.

Sam, what ever happened to your Yosimite Sam Avi? I like that one!

Why ruin a good thing, "Sam I Am"?

I actually own this t-shirt and (when I still owned a truck) my floor mats and mud flaps were both Yosimite Sam. :D

because of New York, Philly always has been, is, and always will be seen as an afterthought if even that much. They all grow up with the biggest chips on their shoulders and it is by far the city with the biggest inferiority complex in the country. Growing up in NY other than 1 class trip Philly was never seen as a place to go and was usually mentioned with a snicker. We'd go to Atlantic City and back while visiting Philly (about 30 minutes away) was the furthest thing from anyones mind. They dont hate Dallas-they hate the world. If your ever there tell them your just stopping to take a piss and on your on your way to NY for some fun.
Philly- ha

I love Philly. The city is clean. The people seem nice and well educated. Their sports teams are competitive, and their Head Coaches are nice guys who like to do things the normal way and don't think they are better then everyone else.

I lived in Allentown unfortunately for a month back in 93. It's a couple of hours away from Philly. I went to a party and got into an argument with a couple that were from there. They are without a doubt, The biggest idiots I ever met. Aikman was gay and they wished players would of died when they got pelted with snowballs and telling me they hoped I would get in a car crash because I was a Cowboys fan. That city is a toilet and the people that live there are the feces floating in it

The context was that she was asking Scandrick the places that liked to play on the road. He said Philly because they he likes to embrace the hate...it get's him pumped.

They also asked him about Romo's it's a catch comment. He said the whole team couldn't wait to get that bitter taste out their mouths.....that the work ethic was very high.

lol. So no, not even remotely a Murray related thing.

Similar to how I hate Philadelphia but have never been there. It's rather easy when you think about it.

I always disliked the Giants and Commanders with the Eagles as an after thought. Now that have lived here over 20 + years I hate them with a passion. The " you have to like them home team" is irritating. Its always " you like Dallas? We are you from". I have lived as far west as Arizona and numerous places in North Jersey and NY and that mentality I only really prevalent here.

There's roughly 3 and a half million people in Philly. Experiences with one or two or 65 thousand does not speak for the masses. Its funny but most of these comments are stupid and ignorant and count me as another Philly hater..............Would be like saying all Texans sleep with their sisters or are racist rednecks.....Not true but there you have it.

Nicknamed Killadelphia for their murder rate. But that isn't the scariest thing. Walk along any street in Philly and just observe the people. Homeless, drug addicts, abnormal, mentally challenged people. I am serious. There is something odd going on in Philly.
