30 years without sniffing the conference championship round. But Jerry still thinks he can do it his way.

This should be the most coveted opening in the NFL by far. But because of Jerry, serious candidates aren't interested or won't be interviewed because they will want to do it their way.

I think that was it the entire time and ESPN was feeding it. He loved every minute of that. We heard that they met but was actually a formal interview? There was no offer so we were just discussing nothing but air.

Jerry forcing coaches on his head coaches is an underrated, underdiscussed flaw of Jerry’s.

He is so thirsty for power and decision making that he can’t even let his HC pick his own assistants.

It’s actually weird.

I agree but if you're the 49ers, you could lose your 2nd choice waiting for his decision as he waits on Jerry and Jerry waits on Kellen's season to end. What happens if he waits on Jerry to make his decision after the season, the 49ers have moved on and Jerry decides on Kellen as his HC. Hell, as I'm writing this, it just hit me, that may be Jerry's plan.....that way Saleh has no choice but to accept the Cowboys DC job. LOL
 
Wouldn't it be funny or pathetic if McCarthy comes back with his tail between his legs and get's rehired. I'm calling it....

I would have to wait and see how they do before being negative about them before they even start. I'm confident that you know absolutely nothing about who would be the best coach to hire and will run your negative mouth on anybody they would hire.
 
I would be happy with Saleh. Hire him, let him pick his own staff. If they do hire Moore, I'm out. Last offseason was horrible and inept and a Moore, or even Shottenheimer, hire would be the straw that broke the camel's back for me
