Let's not forget that they drafted Javon Kinlaw 2 years ago and still have Armstead as a starter. Word is Kinlaw has not lived up to their expectation. In fact, some are saying if the decision was made today, they would not exercise his 5th-year option.

BTW......they have 2023 out on Armstead's contract

The Eagles have a glut of great DTs, losing him isn't as big a deal for them. And if they need DT help at some point this year, they'll get a player and not a ham and egger. But keep cheering for the Jones way, it's working so well the past 27 years.

how about that legendary backend got burned by the WRBC they were very overrated last year because they played a bunch of weak offenses missing key players including the 9ers in the nfccg.,.. when they met a higher power O they were just good d nothing special.. Heck even cooper Rush nearly led comeback on that d they won because he was yet another backup qb they played that year., a ton of wins against those types.

now, CJ , Hargraves, that OG they picked in the first round ALL gone, so far, they asked slay to take pay cut maybe he forces a release or trade.. right they are all set ..no issues but our fans act like its the Jonses and cowboys not making many moves while not acknowledging every team that signed one of these day 1 FAS also most lost one of eqaul value and other simply losing good ones and so far not replacing them..

I understand how badly we need help at DT but that’s way out of line.

It’s interesting that Hargrave and Tomlinson each signed much more modest deals when they were two years younger. Wouldn’t say their play got all that much better, I guess the demand just went way up.
