Like having a QB on a rookie contract is going to change the "We either win a Super Bowl our way or No way." mentality the Joneses have. We still saw Jerry Jones trying to convince Cowboys media and Cowboys fans, that his and Stephen's way of attempting to win, is better than the strategy Howie Roseman used with free agency to successfully get his team to a Super Bowl appearance. The Joneses could be magically gifted with a QB on a rookie contract and would still come up with new excuses for why they insist their way of "We like our guys." Off season roster building, is better than the GMs and owners willing to go all out in free agency to help get their team to the Super Bowl.

The Eagles have a glut of great DTs, losing him isn't as big a deal for them. And if they need DT help at some point this year, they'll get a player and not a ham and egger. But keep cheering for the Jones way, it's working so well the past 27 years.

You cannot win with just anyone-you gotta have a franchise quarterback (someone to pay big bucks). How else can you win a divisional round playoff game?? Like you could find a guy in the seventh round and do something like that…
