No Bonus for TO ...the Eagles plan to Drop TO in One-Week!

T.O. is a overbearing prima donna and all that and I don't want him on the Cowboys. But, Reid handled the situation horribly.

The guy greatly outperformed his contract and when he first complained about it, instead of being open to giving Owens a raise, he basically threw his hands up in the air and said he couldn't deal with him.

If there's one thing to criticize Reid for, it's Owens. He signed him when everybody told him he was nuts to do so. Then he underpaid him while he greatly overpaid Jevon Kearse. And after Owens came back to the Super Bowl from a broken leg and greatly outperformed his contract, he wasn't willing to even talk about a raise. Owens then erupted and acted like the jerk he's known to be.

How Reid gets a free pass on this entire thing is beyond me.

I agree he was not complaining about the contract when he got to Philly but threw a hissy fit about going to Baltimore he wanted so bad to team up with McNabb. 1 season later now it is all about the money and this take place as soon as he changes agents. Philly was wrong for signing this fool but all the trouble TO brought on himself with a big hand from his agent.

TO did indeed slander, humiliate and slander Garcia (QB 49ers) by calling him a homosexual (or something derrogatory in nature). That said, once you denegrate one player, you do the same to the entire team; including coaches, Players, etc.

Sure! He told His offensive coach not to speak to him unless TO spoke to the coach first! That caused a Big mess in communications between coach and player.

This was part of the dispute with management. He never claimed his Philly coaches were inept like Keyshawn Johnson did in Tampa Bay.

The Eagles shafted him with his contract and told him to be quiet and deal with it. That tact blew up in their faces. Owens held out for more money and that tact blew up in his face. PT, I think both Eagles management and Terrell Owens are to blame for their situations and both have been punished for their respective stubborness.

What I think is silly is how the media machine has painted Owens as more than just a vain, loudmouthed fool (which he is)-- he's Lex Luthor, Hitler and the anti-Christ all rolled up into one.

Yes TO came with baggage but the Eagles also took advantage of the situation caused by TO's brain dead agent (uh, the first breain dead agent, that is). The Eagles were a safe port for TO during that storm but they were the only port and as a result he ultimately had to sign a lowball deal. The alternative for TO was to sit out the 2005 season while the 49ers waited to trade his rights. he was screwed and the Eagles made out like bandits. Well, they got what they paid for.
