No hate on Dak, but what does he do better than Rush?

Not even close!!!

open your eyes, level of competition, team play, and situational football is and was NOT THE SAME. just stop the nonsensical responses. 1st game was Moore (abandoning the run game, bad play calls), was the OL, was the Wrs not getting open, it was CLEAR to non-hater POV.. Natinal media saying the same thing, ex-players said the same thing post game last night., if you dont see it, thats on you and all your hater cronies.

Game 1

the ENTIRE offense and offensive coaches were pathetic, thats a Fact....rush would have been cRushed by that Bucs did like they did the next week to NO outplayed us and we weren't prepared,

get over it,

so was Rogers, Stafford, burrows, Murray and 8 playoff teams other than us lost game 1, ands didn't look good week one. Dak didnt get chance to bounce back, got hurt get over it. no player plays 17 perfect or great games, that's not how it works.

I have open my eyes and what I saw against the Bucs I seen a lot of times with Dak. I mean you act like Dak wasnt missing wide open receivers in that game and misread the defense. Or Dak wasnt holding onto the ball too long and taking bad sacks.

Last night Giants sent a lot of pressure and Rush didnt take any sacks. He made quick reads and got the ball out. If Dak played last night he gets sacked at least 3 times.

I'm not sure it has anything to do w/ the playcalling. I don't think that it has changed. It's more about the QB's decision making at the LOS. QBs have several options at the LOS, and then they have to go through progressions. I think Cooper goes through his progressions much more quickly. But even moreso, I think he has the weird uncanny ability to see what is going to happen and throw accordingly.

Honestly if that is the case I'd be screaming at the coaches for allowing it. Dak can't have autonomy if the results are what is killing this team. Of course it's on Dak, but at some point we need a grown up to intervene.

Again, we don't know if that's what is happening..

Again you exaggerated to make a point.

I have NEVER said Dak can't audible out of calls. Is there a single starting qb in the league who isn't able to audible?

The information I'd like is how often he moves from a run to a pass. I'm assuming none of us actually know.

I'm a COWBOYS fan, not a Dak fan. If he is the cause of our pathetic run games it's an issue that needs to be addressed period.

And yet, here you are blaming Moore, when Dak clearly had the ability to check in and out of run plays, based on defensive looks.

How did I exaggerate when you tried to compare the Dak situation of sucking against zone to teams dedicating more resources to try and slow down Mahomes?

I also liked his 2-3 smoke routes to get ceedee going.

First of all EVERY qb has that ability. You think you shared some ground breaking research there?

The question isn't whether or not it happens, but how often and if it is the cause of this being a pass happy offense. Keep up man.

Moore gave him 28 RUN PASS options, he checked out of 12 of them.

So on what basis can you argue it’s Moore’s fault. It is you that claimed Moore isn’t calling run.

And teams were simply disguising coverages last year, for Dak. They would show multiple in the box and drop into zone and Dak would looked confused as hell, the implication being, he was most likely the problem. Dak is slow period,

Rush "throws guys open". Funny thing is, most that use this statement have no idea what it means.

I watched closely last night. Rush mostly threw before the WR broke or right at the break. Ball was delivered much earlier.

What does this mean? Instincts. Rush is loaded through and through w/ this IT factor, he just knows where to go. Unexplainable. Gawdawmighty I just wish he had a little more arm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately, Dak doesn’t have that ability. Can’t throw w/ anticipation.

There's no need for a 10 page thread with the same Dak haters and Dak homers arguing the same points. If Dak comes back and doesn't win games then the haters are right. If Dak comes back and elevates the offense even more then he's better. I think the first game was on Kellen/lack of pre-season for the starters more than Dak. But, if Dak comes back and plays like he did week 1 then I hope they switch back to Rush.
Well using your logic it is no need for you to post either. You can just pass by this thread and move on to the next one you you care about truly posting in but you didn’t.

The difference is there will be discontent on the offense if he can't get the ball to the receivers and Rush can

there will be a mutiny
I am sure Micah will be plenty pissed as well. . . All I am saying is . . . Nobody better blame anyone else

He responded to this-

You're not talking about Cooper there?
Pretty clear, I wasn't. I was referring to back ups when I said back ups. Rush & Brown play well. Probably has something to do with all the practice reps together.

Its amazing, the same people that wanted to cut Cooper Rush and keep Will Grier as the backup now want him to replace Prescott.
ielseits because we dis not understand the awareness and grasp of the playbook that Cooper has . . . He is poised in the pocket and delivers the ball very well

We naturally gravitated to the QB with the better Arm. .
Not realizing Cooper's advantage is the time He has sat and learned

GO COWBOYS:thumbup:
