At this point in time do I have concerns, yes, but this is why we play pre season games. To fill out a winning 53 man roster they are a necessary evil.

Put the backups in, see as many players as possible in a game situation, evaluate, coach them up and try them again next week. Hopefully at the end of 4 games you find enough players to fill the special team spots and key backups for your starters.

YESSSS the ST are very much suspect and so are some other areas.....Wade knows this and so does every coach on the team and most importantly so does JJ. We will either find those players on the current roster or we cut them and hit the waiver wire. This team is too close......it will be fixed.

I'm confident the problem areas will be addressed, I'm confident this team will win a playoff game,and go deep into the playoffs.


You can be negative to your hearts content but do not tell others to "Stop it"....... One pre season game does not make a season...So, I'll take the high road..thank you.

And it's not because we lost a pre-season game tonight. it's because i see some of the same problems we had last year.bad special teams, and way to many PI calls for hugh chunks of yards. let's just hold off on the Super Bowl talk.i will say that F.Jones,choice and Austin looked good tonight. so there is some hope.

You do realize that what we talk about on this forum has NO EFFECT on the actual outcome of the games, you do realize that dont you?

We as fans can talk about anything in the world, drink the coolaid and think were the greatest or be chicken little and predict 1-15 season. Us fans have no control over the outcome of the game, we are strictly spectators.

So telling people to stop talking about going to the SB and that we have to win a playoff game first before we can talk about the SB is being irrational.

Actually, I am quite sure that every team has a fan that has mentioned the S word.

You forgot to mention all the runs straight up the middle!

Our 1st drive looked very good, but let's face it: Our 2nd stringers SUCK. SD has far more talent than we do, and most disappointing for me, they seem so much more motivated. They played hard all game except for the drive on which Choice got all his yards.

And not one of our coaches seemed to care that we looked so bad. This secondary is not much if you ask me and that is supposed to be a strength! And all this talk of "depth" is just plain BS as well.

I don't care if it si preseason, I'm not impressed...

P.S. to Wade Phillips: Lose 80 lbs or so, will you? You look like a stuffed goose out there. The most successful teams have coaches that are trim and fit. Look at Belichk and Coughlin: Slim and trim. Maybe the players are taking a hint from you...
