No more Super Bowl talk PLEASE!

wow.... one preseason game and all of a sudden we should just forfeit the year and look forward to next year.

Here are three basic rules to remember when watching a preseason game:

1. Preseason games are for evaluation only.

2. Winning a preseason game is not the priority.

3. If you disagree with #2, start back at rule #1.

it is pointless to say anymore now because if you are reading this, then you must of come to the obvious truth rather then stick in some endless loop in the 3 rules above.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
 
The special teams were horrendous. Otherwise, the first-team O and D looked even better than expected. Didn't see anything from the guys that will actually be playing in the regular season that makes me believe the expectations for this team are too high.

Unless, of course, Romo, Owens, Barber, Ware, etc., all get hurt. Then, yes, the 'Boys might be doomed.
 
After the way we played tonight, we're probably no better than 14-2 or 13-3 regular season team.
 
Irony. We all think it's too soon for you all to be coming out. Think about that for a second and think about "who you are."
 
Wow, a pre-season game. LOL, as long as there where no injuries were cool. And teams like the colts always lose preseason games because it doesn't count. I remeber last year the raiders won all there preseason games the won 4 games during the regular season. Chill with all this panic

P.S. to Wade Phillips: Lose 80 lbs or so, will you? You look like a stuffed goose out there. The most successful teams have coaches that are trim and fit. Look at Belichk and Coughlin: Slim and trim. Maybe the players are taking a hint from you...

If you want to complain about the game, I dont have a problem with it. However, personal attacks about somebody's weight is out of bounds and frankly has no place on this board.

I am sure you look like Brad Pitt yourself there buddy, how many supermodels did you watch the game with???
 
I didn't see LT register any stats so if thats the case you shouldn't take 2 much into the game...

I'm still PO'd that they didn't show the first offensive and defensive series on NFL Network. We out-of-towners did not get to see the well-oiled machine stuff. By the time it came on, the Cowboys were fumbling, stumbling and bumbling. Oh well.
