One of the worst things we could have seen on Saturday would have been a victory on the scoreboard but the Chargers first team offense gaining yards on the ground and through the air. As it is... they couldn't do **** without that PI penalty.

Had we won the game but the chargers first string defense had shut down Romo and company, I would be upset. However, they couldn't stop 1 play... much less one drive of our's.

Had we won the game but also Felix Jones had gained 2.0 yards per carry or had he done nothing with the passes he got, I would have been upset. Instead, he looked every bit the gamebreaker we've been hearing of out of camp. Super impressive.

As it is... we saw exactly what we needed to see and that was some nice things from both starting units as well as some very nice things from our rookies and first year guys.

Heck, I would have been happy just watching Austin play so well, no matter what else happened.

And it's not because we lost a pre-season game tonight. it's because i see some of the same problems we had last year.bad special teams, and way to many PI calls for hugh chunks of yards. let's just hold off on the Super Bowl talk.i will say that F.Jones,choice and Austin looked good tonight. so there is some hope.
