There is absolutely no reason why Dallas should have given him a no-trade clause.

I am fine with resigning him, but I would want a way out after a year or two and start the rebuild if things keep going south in the playoffs.

With $238mm guaranteed and dead money impacts, they can't get out of it in a year or two.
