I think we tried to out smart ourselves.

By waiting and waiting for second tier, we lost out. Now it's panic mode

I see your point, but I don't like to over spend or put all of my eggs in one basket. It's best to get some quality depth and then draft for long term solutions. We can be like that dog in the movie that screams "squirrel!!!!!" each time we see something new and shiny. How many big time FAs have worked out for this team? Now...how many "low level" people have we signed in the last two or three years that had a pretty darn good year?

"I'll take the low level players" for $1000 Alex for the win"....Just saying.

I understand the frustration, don't get me wrong, I want to win a Ring just as bad as you do. I am 25 years and all I know is Cowboys being mediocre. I've never seen them win a ring (I was too young for the dynasty) but we can't just go super crazy in FA, it backfires much more than it works out. Furthermore, I really believe the key to being a good team for the next decade lies in our O-line, we are going to need to have the resources to pay them down the road and keep them together to become the identity of our franchise. You have to balance between now and the future.

Common sense and patience...you're gonna need it if you're a Cowboys fan these days... Good post in my opinion

Do you miss 2014 Murray too?

2014 Murray was overrated. Left meat on the bone. Could not break the long run. But more especially fumbled.

Whatever other idiotic statement you can make.

Anyone can run behind this line.

Go Cowboys!

A lot of those criticisms were/are fair.

I also didn't want Murray back at his price.

It can be easily (and credibly) argued we ran better in 2015 than we did in 2014.

The team says they believe in Romo's health.

Well, either they are lying and the truth is they are rebuilding or they have let him down again by giving Maranelli nothing to work with and putting all there eggs in the #9 basket as they have done so often.

They cannot win a Super Bowl with this dline as it is constituted. With or without Romo.
