Basically said that the hardest thing for fans to admit/realize is that their team just isn't that good.

I think that's where we are as a franchise. All that talk of us being so "talented" is a such of BS. I feel like this team just doesn't have that killer instinct you need to win big games like tonight. We don't have enough impact players on defense, our QB turns the ball over at the worst times, and bad coaching usually catches up to us.

Norm also said that fans want to make excuses and nit pick on the little things, but don't want to admit that their team just isn't good.

The Dallas Cowboys are not a good football team. You can blame the penalties, turnovers, the QB, offensive coordinator, head coach/defensive coordinator, owner/GM, secondary, pass rush, WR's; but the bottom line is we're a mediocre team that will probably finish 8-8.

So in other words, whomever is choosing the talent around here needs to be fired?

after the raping at the linc, it should be absolutely obvious that this team isnt good.

We're not a bad team, we just aren't the elite team we all thought we were.

8-8/9-7 type team....

Norm may be correct but he chose tonight as his example?

We lost this game because we aren't that good?

Also I don't think any scout or GM would say the Cowboys aren't loaded with Talent.

Thats why guys like Chris Canty get looked as average around here but when they hit free agency they get payed top dollar because of their high talent.

I don't see how anyone could argue Dallas not being talented unless they are just blind.

Dallas isn't going to win anything. I'm content with it now because I have gotten so used to it. They look worse than they did last year.

And its because we are a team that kills themselves.

Its not like teams are just establishing dominance against us or anything. We just give them the game.

This is not a bad team. A bad team doesn't lose a game in the last sec when you hand a team 24pts. It's a team with full of dumb players and with a coach that is a idiot.

A player can be "talented," but what do you define talent as? Was Jerry Rice the most "talented" WR of all time, no, but he was the most complete WR. He didn't have blazing speed but somehow he was always open. Sure, Jenkins and Scandrick are "talented," but they obviously can't play the CB position with consistency. I think Jerry drafted too much for 40 times and potential while he should have just looked for football players. Who cares if a guy runs a 4.28 if he doesn't have great "football speed?" Yeah, Dallas is talented but they don't have enough true, football players.

What Dallas needs it some real corners a Free Safety and someone opposite of ware that can provide Pressure. Spencer is a joke and if He doesnt show anything put Octavin or someone else in there. Talk about a bust. Scandrick showed He is no better then Jenkins...Someone needs to step up.

On Offense we are in good shape..We jsut need romo not to make stupid mistakes and errant throws and turnovers.

The team played pretty good with exception of the lack of pressure from our d-line. Wonder is we miss Ellis?

Romo literally threw that game away and looked like a rookie out there tonight.

:hammer:

Anyone remember the movie "Angels in the Outfield"???

There's a scene in there where a pitcher is rapping the following:

"No matter who we play, we give the game away
Cuz we can't win, that would be a sin
We even lose the games before they begin"

That's how I feel right now.

If Dallas isn't that good, what are the Giants? Aren't they supposed to be the class of the NFC? And they needed +4 on turnover margin and a last-second field goal to win.

Who is the class of the AFC? The Patriots? The Steelers? The teams that lost to the Jets and Bears?

We need a little perspective up in here.

Ouch.

But I dont think the team played that bad. If Romo just has 2 Ints, we win this game.

We had that person. He's now a DE in Oakland. BTW, he had two more sacks alone today then the entire Dallas defense.

The bottom line is we were up 31-30 and Eli drove his team downfield to win the ballgame. I can't say Romo can do the same thing right now. Eli made a lot of plays tonight.
