What would your grounds be for cutting TO? Forget the "distraction" excuse. If your cutting your biggest weapon you better have a good reason and a new coach like Norv would not have one. Which would lose him credibility if anything. I think its pretty obvious CL that your feelings about TO has everything to do with why you want him cut.

Not only that, but throw in the fact that Norv has NO personal dealings with TO from a coach/player standpoint. What grounds does Norv have to cut him? From what he's read in the media??

Yeah I'm sure that happens all the time... new coach comes in, immediately cuts players he doesn't know/hasn't worked with, because they have a bad rep. Could you imagine Norv going into Cincy right now?

First day of full team practice, Norv calls everybody over. They stand there while Norv walks straight up to #81, knees him in the onions and walks away. Would that make everybody happy? We'd still have #81 and Norv would be in charge.

Ha, that's a loaded question. I'm not going to name the usual suspects because I don't believe Mr. Owens is in their company anymore.

Anyone that can catch the ball, run proper routes, practice, put the team goals in front of his personal stats, and shut up. Those kind of players make entire teams better at the expense of their personal stats.
