ZZZZZ You didn't answer the question. How many of those TD leaders throughout history played through a broken hand and torn tendon while complaining zilch times during the season. Please dig further. I'll answer your question when you answer the one I already asked.

What Owens had this year is common for WR's. Have you ever seen their fingers??

The only difference is when somebody like Mark Ingram gets hand injuries it isn't a national story, because most athletes don't look for excuses for their poor play. They'd rather nobody know the injury exists.

Owens always dropped balls. He looked no different this year opposed to other years.

dude his drops are never as much of a problem as they were with his finger this year, T.O. never made his hand an excuse it was media coverage that done that and not T.O.

There is no reasoning with someone that has a made mind against any inkling of reasoning at all.

:hammer:

I know that.

I'm learning, I'm learning, but occasionaly I try to give the other side for them to consider, .. but then the "mind against any inkling of reasoning at all" reveals itself and I realize I have wasted my time yet again.

FACTS:
He signed with Dallas, .. he came to Dallas, .. he practices with Dallas, .. he played 16 games for Dallas, .. he IS a Dallas Cowboy, .. he will be a Dallas Cowboy in 2007 too.

It has gotten old that some are still acting like they don't want him to sign here.

That happened a long time ago, they need to get over it, ... he is a Cowboy !

I realized that long ago, how is that having a "mind against any inkling of reasoning at all" ?

I take it by your answer that you do NOT know that it goes both ways.

Thanks for playing and making my point.

Couldn't answer the question, huh ?

Everything I said was a fact, the other side only deals with their opinion.

If any other player did what he did on the field, they would be thrilled, .. but since it was the guy that they didn't want in the first place, they have to find fault.

To me that's small.

It's like when people find fault with P. Manning, .. now that's really small.

I asked a question.

Instead of answering my question that I asked first...you go on some rant about TO.

You never answered my question yet you have the stones to say I did not answer yours.

Priceless.

It goes both ways.

You happen to be on one side, I happen to be on the other.

You are no better than those that rag on TO because you are one of the first to defend TO no matter what.

So as I said before...you do realize it works on both sides...right?

1) Bleu Star posted "There is no reasoning with someone that has a made mind against any inkling of reasoning at all."

2) I seconded that in my following post.

3) You posted that "a made mind against any inkling of reasoning at all" worked both ways and asked if I realized that.

4) I answered your question when I posted that I was stating facts, not opinion, and after stating the facts, I asked how that fell under the category of "a made mind against any inkling of reasoning at all", .. since stating facts does not fall under the category of "no inkling of reasoning."

5) Then your snide remark about "Thanks for playing and making my point.", which did not answer my question.

P.S. I don't defend Owens no matter what, .. I called him on being late for a meeting, and sleeping in a meeting, and the penalty after the EZ celebration.

Even though I am sure he is not the only Dallas Cowboy to be late or sleep in a meeting, it is still unacceptable.
And as far as the EZ penalty, he said he didn't know it would draw a penalty, he apologized, and I don't think he had another EZ celebration the rest of the season except doing his T O with his arms.

Classic. You don't defend #81 YET your very next course of action is to do as such. Read below.

I didn't defend him, I said it was unacceptable.

What part of that do you not get ?

I called him on his action, the rest is after-the-fact.

To defend him would have been defending his action. I didn't.

Nice try.

Anyway, this "what would Norv do" thread is quite a waste of time.

I'm sure we will meet in another more pertanent(sp?) TO thread in the future.

I guess that the phrase, "I would suspect no one has" didn't answer your question.

Anyhoo, it's a day later and there isn't any interest remaining for a late answer. :)

Thanks for clarifying the fact that you're simply yet another hater that's so blinded by your hate that you fail to see the obvious positives brought to the team by that guy with the big head. Like no other WR has ever had a big head.
Never have I downplayed his production. Ever. Yet, you state that I, "fail to see the obvious positives". The overwhelming scent from your Owens' brown-nosing is influencing you in a negative fashion. Owens will not be pleased. No, indeedy.

News flash: WR is a primadonna position. The Marvin Harrisons of the league are few and far between. The typical NFL WR settles in nicely somewhere between a Chad Johnson and a Joe Horn where it pertains to what he thinks of himself. TO is no different. That is unless you despise the guy... :jerk:
Fitting Owens between the two wide receivers you've mentioned is akin to fitting a square peg in a round hole. But hey, nothing's impossible for an Owens acolyte, eh? :)
