Cole Beasley is an extension to the running game. He has been our missing piece. Getting him more involved is not a bad thing.

Cole Beasley was able to find holes in the defense because the middle of the field was open. And why was that? Murray made the defense respect him. If they weren't, we would eat them alive on the ground. If they do not fear the run game, they can drop a few more in coverage.

Key word is if
and Jerry is right, if we had to throw the ball more we could. #1 WR and top 5 QB.

Defenses have to guard Dez, Witten, and now Beasley. Regardless who our running back is, that is a major mismatch problem. Beasley literally looks like a Welker clone running routes with his agility quickness and separation. Don't pigeon hole success because we had one incredible year running the ball. We don't have Murray anymore. We won't be as run heavy this year, and that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Our passing game will be elite. The run will be used less to get 3-4 yards, and more for big runs when we catch the defense off guard.

Considering our home and road records last year, I would have prefered to play GB at their house anyway.

Yeah but GB was unbeaten at home, and they did not have to travel. and they rested while we played detroit.
Flip all that and dallas might have won.
