Anyone remember "Jet Stream" Roy Green for the St. Louis Cardinals? It seemed every year he switched from WR to CB. Ginn strikes me as this type of player.
I would take Roy Green on this team in a heartbeat. ;)

I'll join the "Ginn would be a good choice" bandwagon. I'm also doubtful he'll fall anywhere near our pick. Gosselin clearly likes him and Goose is usually right on where players stand. We'll see.

He doesn't have Barry Sanders elusiviness. He is Galloway except not built as thick. If he can produce as well as Galloway then he will be worth drafting. Maybe he can, maybe he can't.

He seems to have Barry Sanders tendencies... going backwards before going forwards.... that will result in a loss more times than not in the NFL....

with that said... he is impressive.... would like to see how his play translates in NFL

Ginn>Jarret

If you are talking speed and return ability, yes.

Hands? No.

Stats? No.

You dont like Jarrett because some one called him soft? Ginn hurt himself celebrating for gods sakes.

Its your opinion and thats fine, but there isnt much to back it up.

Nice to know someone else is old enough to remember him. ;)

He was a good player....a good receiver...but never as good as he could've been IMO.

Great speed...great athlete.

True....a lot of teams would like to have a Roy Green. So would I...but I hope Ginn is able to achieve greatness if we draft him.

Ginn didn't hurt himself....His dumb as rocks teammate Roy Hall hurt him.

There is a difference.

I know the difference. I guess handing the ball to the ref after you scored 50% of your teams points for the game went out of style long ago.

couldnt agree w/ u more, and i love LT and have since he was here at TCU for that, but i dont understand how that has anything to do with this. HIS TEAMATES DID IT. If he was walking over to the ref, they were gonna tackle him, so.....????

Its stupid to argue the 'ifs' and the 'but's but he has scored before and given the ball to the official without putting himself in the position to be maimed.

Dont get me wrong, Ginn would be an amazing addition to this team at 22. I dont want this to turn into an argument that has no possible winner.

The kid runs like a deer, I'll give him that.

He gets in the open field against any defneder who ever lived, it's over. His size worries me, though.

Handing the ball to the ref or not had nothing to do with a idiot jumping on his ankle.

The way you were putting it was like he hurt himself like Gramatica...He didn't.

nice post. he will get injured unless he puts on some weight. the guy can't even handle celebrating with his teammates

he looks really good on youtube...but most of the action seems to be him returning punts rather than making catches.

Give me a fricking break on the "stats" thing. That is one criteria and not a huge one in my world. Ask Andre Ware or David Klingler how well the incredible stats worked out for them...

PUT himself in a position to be maimed. Of all the stupid posts that is right up there. The guy does not do the stupid celebration thing that has gotten players injured. His team mates JUMPED him wrestled him around and injured him. Yet JSNTO claims it was GINS fault. Pretty pathetic.
