I fully appreciate what Zeke's style of running does to a defense over the course of a game.

It has the same effect Marion Barber did in his prime. But we need him healthy at full power Not the injured compromised version we had last year.

Ultimately it's up to our quarterback to understand that the chains have to be moved and it's up to him to figure out how to get them moved .

He needs to use his legs like the other elite quarterbacks around the league do and move the chains in these situations when Zeke is hurt and can't play.

At this point in Zeke's career it's a given that his style can help us and wear a defense down but the state of his health is what really dictates whether he will be effective or not.

Hilarious that you types continue to stick up for Zeke. Even after pollard goes for 250 yards and 4 TD's over the last two games without him. Dak hasnt gotten killed and Pollard handled a full load today. And he still averaged over 5 ypc in both games. Lots of myths busted in the last two weeks.

If Zeke played in this game the Cowboys probably get blown out.
What game were you watching? Malik Davis was having a good game and should have been used more. We could have worn them down and milked the clock if Moore would have kept him in. If Zeke was available, Zeke would have done the same. Moore's inability to have a feel for the game cost us this game, IMO. With Zeke, mainly because of his contract, Moore would have kept him in.

But does that really mean that we needed Zeke? No. We just needed Moore to stick with the power back for a couple of series. So I do agree with the OP's statement.

we don’t need a back averaging 4ypc. We need one averaging over 5 which is what Davis did last game.
