Whether it be a top 3 round draft pick or someone that's out there in FA, after watching some Lions tape, it's apparent that we need to get a more stable version of Dunbar. Between his injuries and fumbling issues, I don't think he can be counted on.

Watching Reggie Bush in the Lions offense makes that system very difficult to stop. I think it'd really help free up the TE's since linebackers and safeties would have to account for our backfield on pass plays.

Everyone has been talking about getting another 1B type receiver opposite Dez, and I think Kelvin Benjamin would be great, BUT if not him, then give me a Reggie Bush/Tavon Austin type guy.

I don't want a 6'1, 195 WR. Terrence Williams gives us that and even more so.. We need a MONSTER either coming out of the backfield or the guy out wide.

Don't we have one?

It would be nice. But we have more pressing needs. It's not a necessity and they need to focus on utilizing the weapons we already have.

Screw that. We've spent too much on backs. Lets just say, "they ain't what they use to be." Backs can be found under a rock, in a house, under a mouse, etc.

Demarco is a beast. Just keep him healthy.

No reason to invest valuable resources at RB when our coach and his right hand approach the running game like it is illegal.

This offense has more valid weapons than probably 75% of the teams in the league, yet, every year - there is this clamor for that ONE piece we're missing.

Just watch and wait. By the time the draft comes around, a lot of people will have forgotten about the trenches being the primary need and we'll see even more calling for a WR, RB, CB, etc to be taken early.

It happens every. single. year.

He's also fumbled when healthy. Outside the Raiders game, he hasn't shown the ability to be consistent

I would agree with this. It would not break my heart if they spent a 5th or 6th on a potential Cobb/Sproles type player. Dunbar and Randle both need some pressure on them to step up their game.

Cowboys need to stick to their board and draft the best players. Need to stop going after a certain type of player. Pick the best ones and forge your identity from there. This goes for both sides of the ball.

They'll try and do something with the offense. They have to make a decision on Miles. They have to know Murray and Dunbar can play. They'll be looking at picking up a WR or two late or an UDFA or cheap FA. They will address either FB and/or F and H Back. They'll decide on depth on the OL, Leary's knees, whether Weems and Parnell can play, and be on the lookout for a C/G.

But they'll have to spend a lot more time on defense. Not going to rattle all that off which you know well anyway. Ware, Spencer and Hatcher are on their minds.

They already know Murray can play.

Yes they do but they need to decide if they are going to extend him now or wait and see what he does. That could reflect their perception of need for a RB either this year even or just affect their decision about UDFAs this year. I like Murray a lot but I wouldn't spend money to keep him. You can roll with draftees and UDFAs these days. But even though he's under contract this year they need to plan ahead.

Don't see this happening.

The top 5 picks will be DT,DE, Lber, safety, OG..

probably in that order.

We have a 4-3 defense and its easier to draft for that scheme.
