I am reading and laughing so hard at the idiotic comments about Ware from people who really are blind as bats. Even with all his injuries, Ware easily outperformed a HEALTHY spencer. Morons.

Greg Ellis gets booted.

Anthony Spencer goes off.

Hmmm..

Hopefully we see the same thing this year with Colombo hitting the bench to make way for Colombo and Kosier hitting the bench later in the year for a draft pick.

This is a young man's game - you always have to be bringing in fresh blood.

Oh, look. A thread somehow must have been in a state of suspended animation. This thread appears to have been created back in Week 8.

Spencer is one of the Cowboys best young players. And to think some people wanted him gone when he was arrested for the bar incident last year. We have some impatient, fickle fans at the Zone.

I couldn't agree more... He's going to be even better in 2010.

anyone that does NOT think Spencer is only going to get better does NOT know football. There were MANY times last year where Spencer was flat out BETTER than DeMarcus Ware. And if Ware is not careful...if Ware does not start doing something other than running up the field as fast as he can...if Ware does not start becoming MORE of a techincian, learn some moves and try to set blocker up.....Spencer will be as GOOD if not BETTER in the not to distant future.

And let me add the same sitiuatoin exists for between Newman and Jenkins. Jenkins is probably better than him right now...and if not will be next year.

Lastly, with all of the players I have mentioned...this is a GOOD thing. Because they are ALL good.

I almost spat out my drink... But I realized this is CBZone! Ware played through injuries in 2009 and failed to miss a game.

never said Ware was not great....just stating the fact that Ware took himself out of a lot plays by simply running up the field and putting ZERO pressure on the OT or QB....the OT would simply ride him where Ware would take him...which was often NO WHERE.....Ware needs to work on counter moves and set the OT up. Hence that is why Charles Haley was in Dallas last year to tell Ware the exact same thing I have mentioned. I love DWare. But he is not playing for free. He is one of the most highly compensated players in the NFL and probably the highest paid player in Dallas...and Domination by him is not to be desired....it is to be expected.

Being voted All Pro isn't good enough then I guess or on the All Decade team.

Easily outperformed Spencer?

look everybody here is on Wares nuts, but you are the blind one if you ask me. Maybe he demanded more attention but He wasnt playing great football late in the season. Spencer was playing more overrall solid games. Stoping the run, pressures, batting down passes and taking screens away. Look at the games before you start rambling like a blind homer.

well then you have not read or seen everything. Ware NEEDS to do something besides speed rush all the time...and Charles Haley was in Dallas this year delivering that message to Ware.

You stoped watching after the Saints game. Otherswise I dont see how you dont give Spencer credit for playing good football. And to say He outperformed Ware later in the year is not a stretch or a diss on Ware.

Spencer broke out at the end of the Season and showed real Playmaking ability. He's worth the 1st round pick Dallas gave for him in the Draft and more. Noway you let a guy like that slip through your hands at this point.
