Wouldn't surprise me at all if Dallas loses tonight and big, and the way this team finishes in December in recent years, wouldn't surprise me to see them go 0-4 in December and finish 8-8 either...

I have been laughed at for us going 8-8, for years.

If we go 8-8 after starting 6-1, I will laugh right along with them, ... maniacally as I switch the TV off.

They need to win.

Tonight and in reality if they really want into the playoffs they simply have to win out.

Hoping for the Wildcard, at this point, is a bad idea. With the Cards and the 49ers both holding Tie breakers over us we simply do not want it to come down to a wildcard spot.

Maybe that's just my opinion.

To me the goal is to get in the dance. Once you get in Then anything can happen. The hell with a division title

A loss tonight, only doesn't hurt...if Philadelphia loses on Sunday. Then Dallas wins out.

I foresee a loss tonight, followed by a win next weekend. Why? Beats me. This is just how this team is. No rhyme or reason.

However, a big fat L tonight will blow this board up.

small part of me thinks they lose tonight and win the last 3.

A loss tonight, only doesn't hurt...if Philadelphia loses on Sunday. Then Dallas wins out.

If that happens and Philly also wins out after this week, then it does hurt b/c Philly wins the division.
The wild card would still depend on how the other teams did in the last 4 games.

The two teams we are chasing play each other this weekend. So that means

If we beat bears...we back in division race

If we lose to bears.....nothing changes or we get 6th seed if lions lose

So after Sunday will either be the 6th seed, in the same situation before tonight game or tied with the eagles with a chance to erase what happened on turkey day.

So the game that is a must win is next week against the eagles not tonight

That's good news.

Not true, according to math.

http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/nfl-week-14-playoff-implications-the-chargers-have-a-pulse/

Our chances of making the playoffs go up 12 percent if we win and down 19.7 percent if we lose. That's a ~32% swing.

If we lose tonight, hide the puppies and the childrenz, its going to be chaos.

Not really, I am sure there will be "we are not out of it, guys" threads and the use of the phrase "Chicken Little" will skyrocket.

we wouldn't be out of it, but it would be a larger sign that "being in it" is pointless.

Rocky: What's that.

Adrian: Win, win... Win.

To me the goal is to get in the dance. Once you get in Then anything can happen. The hell with a division title

Division titles get you home games........................yea, I know we suck at home but homefield advantage is huge in the NFL playoffs..................how huge?

Going back to 1940, the home team in the NFL playoffs wins about 68% of the time....................so roughly 7 out of every 10 games the home team wins in the NFL playoffs........................it aint easy winning on the road in the playoffs, our last road playoff win as 22 years ago.

Now if you want to get to the SuperBowl as a wildcard team that means you have to win 3 consecutive road games.......................2.7% mathematically for that to happen based on historical date...............not impossible, but highly unlikely. That is why the majority of the time the SuperBowl winner is a team that won its division.

You can see how much of an outlier the 2007 Giants were..........to win 3 road playoff games and the SuperBowl against the undefeated Patriots is mathematically a miracle................the percentages say that should not have happened.

I don't want to see any playoffs games in Dallas, only the road because we play better as the underdog

These are the teams who had success on the Bears defense, so if we lose we have no business in the playoffs

Buffalo
Carolina
Miami

Dallas has a better offense that all 3 of those teams and better win this game
