Not very comfortable with Crayton as the number 2 (Possible trade)

Anyone else agree with me? I would love to see Miles Austin get the number 2 reciever spot.

Austin needs to earn it. I like him a lot but he has to prove he can do it.

I AGREE Home of Legends....you ain't seen nothing yet..........JJ looks to be on a roll...........look out below...........

Brian Robiskie, he showed out at the Combine, and I think would be ideal!

Stanback has a freak body but hasnt developed yet. I think this suddenly becomes a need. We have 11 draft picks, why dont we make a package for Robert Meachem. A 1st round pick in 07 I beileve and missed the entire season with a knee injury. In 08, he dominated in the preseason. When the season came along Payton went with the veterans Patten, Henderson, Colston and Lance Moore over Meachem. When Meachem had a chance he produced in limited opporunity. Thats one guy I would defintly inquire about. We might have something there. opinions

Let's not forget Hoseah Steinbeck, he's going to make major strides this off-season! :p:

No one likes Robert Meacheum? Hes young and talented. The Saints might be willing to deal him because of their WR depth. That would be my choice.

LOL.

Maybe we can trade another 1st and 3rd for another WR.

Me gets the feeling this move is only part of the story.......stay tuned.

No, this story is over.

We may draft a WR but this receiving corp is Williams #1 with Austin and Crayton battling for #2.

Of course, our #2 spot is not that huge an issue as we've got so much TE talent.

I wonder if Plaxico Burress might be the phone call if the Giants do not bring him back.

he atleast will fight for the ball. but no thanks

Let's not forget Felix could be a dynamic player on this offense..Have Roy and Austin start with Crayton in the slot...have Hurd and a draftee fight out the 4th spot..

Have Felix be the X factor while catching 40+ balls..we are going to be fine

Not to mention Witten is a reciever also.

I don't agree. I personally think Roy W. can get it done if he really applies himself. He has shown flashes in Detroit of what he can do. He can easily be the #1 guy, he just needs to get in the game and be prepared. The secondary guys in Witten, Crayton, Austin will be able to perform enough to do the job they are there to do. However, I wouldn't mind a cheap vet like Galloway coming aboard in case the wrs can't do the job. Don't forget, Bennett is coming back with a year under his belt and we have three VERY capable RBs so the offense could possibly look much different than years past. I could easily see a Giant type of offense put in place which would work fine with the pieces that the Boys have currently.

I would love to see us really improve the OL depth and play to our strengths, i.e. RBs and TEs. RW will end up being a reliable #1 receiver. Kind of sounds like the setup we had in the 90s, huh?

I'm 100% fine with Williams, Autin and Crayton being the top three guys at WR.

In truth I think Felix will play some WR opposite Roy and Austin.

How do you plan on getting Meacheum away from the Saints? They had to pay him round one money.

That wouldn't surprise me at all and I think that Felix could have great success in that role.
