TRUTH. Of all of the positions you want an elite product, it's QB and you'd hate to trade elite talent and work ethic with a boneheaded demeanor that could jeopardize a career and take games away from their participation.
Be thankful for that.

Let it be the eminently replaceable RB, rather than the oh-so-hard to replace QB.

Zeke will be fine. He's got the type of talent that could make him a lot of money as a RB. He'll get it together, I'm sure of it.

Yeah, Dak's hands are even larger than Brett Favre's, Drew Brees' or Russell Wilson's.:omg:
Brady has huge hand as well, but he's one of the few that doesn't have it registered.
Good company for Dak in any case.

Paxton Lynch's hands dwarf all of them that are registered.
Not that its helped him so far:muttley:

Lynch's hands are large, but not larger than those other guys from what I could find.

dear members---my eyes were not playing tricks on me...this whole off season i have been worried about what i saw as a lack of velocity on Daks throws and what appeared as a slower release...but after last night i can see the ball had noticeable more velocity and his release noticeably quicker...wow i am both a little surprised He could have fixed those issues in a few short months but he did...and this makes me very happy...there will be no sophmore slump

My opinion is that Dak didn't throw with 100% velocity last season. He seemed to feel more comfortable with a little more loft and a little less velocity in favor of better accuracy.

Think about pitchers in baseball. Many could throw a strike almost 100% of the time at 80mph but at the required 90mph+ they are less accurate.

Having said that, Romo's arm strength improved his first few years.

A lot of arm strength is technique related. Many QBs have inefficient wrist action coming out of college. College coaches just have players for a short time and practice time is very limited. They don't want to change their best player's technique because they're already good enough. College coaches spend a big part of their time on the bottom half of the starting roster because those players are not good enough without a lot of coaching.

That very well could be part of it, because the difference is almost shocking (not that I had any doubt he would continue to improve).

I mean guys...these throws. If he's hitting throws like this on a regular basis -- RIP when you try to cover outside of the numbers.

and this is really without the threat of Zeke!! This guy is GOOD folks.

This kid's a killer. He is the hero we deserve. Much respect to Romo... our gunslinger when our team didn't have much else.

If I had to choose between which of our 2016 rookie sensations I'd prefer to be a level-headed perfectionist and which I'd choose to be an immature bonehead, I'd say I'm happy Dak isn't the one pulling down women's tops and acting like a child.

Yea, Johnny Manziel...although Johnny Manziel with talent.

I also like that leaping throw he sometimes does on the run now. Also a testament to arm strength.

Romo helped guide this team and keep morale and competitive spirit alive while Jerry found himself. I'll forever be grateful for Tony making this team competitive when it otherwise would've been a train wreck to watch.

But if you don't think the new linemen, getting younger, etc wasn't set up in Garrett's mind to move on to a younger quarterback, you're kidding yourself.

Dak will probably play the entirety of his career with at least 3 of the 5 guys on that offensive line right now (Smith, Beard, Martin) -- and maybe Collins too. Talk about continuity.

I also suspect when it's contract time, you'll see Dak get a Tyron Smith deal. He just strikes me as a simple guy with humble roots -- he's all about his brothers and his dad (and his dogs, and his family back in Louisiana, fishing with his uncle, etc).

He'll get paid handsomely but he's going to make sure the core stays intact. Tom Brady better find the fountain of youth (PEDs lol) because his window is closing fast. And it's about to be all Dak's window.

I don't kid myself. I agree.

Dak is like the bizarro world jameis Winston.

Less natural ability and much much more work ethic/leadership qualities.
