I post on a Falcons board from time to time. Same with a Saints board and a Panthers board.

No real reason, other than that I like to discuss football with some of them....

As far as the cowboys being "the NFL" you are living in the past, no team is the nfl on its own anymore.

Go tell that to the television networks and ask which team, right now, would they prefer to air nationally:

Well, network advertising executives aren't living in the past and when they are marketing the NFL, it's the present-day Cowboys that they do so more often than other teams. Heck, Gatorade is still paying for ads featuring Bill Parcells in a Cowboys jacket manning a tollbooth.

The television networks have, someone help me here, spotlighted the Cowboys in a number of primetime slots this season--eclipsing that of last season's NFC championship game participants if I'm not mistaken. In my book, that's a sure sign of which team the networks consider as a prime example of, "Who is (represents) the NFL" best. That was YoMick's comment and it was on the money.

Oh, so the NFL picks the primetime games based on who represents the NFL the best? I just thought it was because they had a larger fanbase and got better ratings.
