"We are the NFL" is a very bold statement. No team can claim that distinction anymore. Ive never said my team could so I dont know why you people keep comparing the cowboys to the saints. It is ludicrous however to make the statement that your team that hasnt won a championship in over a decade is bigger than the league and what every club aspires to. If any team is close to being the model for the league at the moment its the patriots, sorry. Even they arent the nfl though

We can. Our popularity is high enough still that it grabs the attention of not only American football fans, but fans across the world. If someone in Mexico were asked to name any NFL team, it's most likely that he or she would say the Dallas Cowboys. Ditto in Japan, Germany, etc. That's just the way it is. "We are the NFL".

Do you not understand the Cowboys either directly or indirectly started the path that is now known as NFL Globalization... we go to Mexico for a preseason game and draw 100,000 fans.... we send players to Europe and the team he is put on is SPOTLIGHTED....

Yeah, yeah, yeah. "My team's good now". Yada, yada, yada. Once upon a time, so were the Buffalo Bills a.k.a. four-time consecutive Super Bowl runner-ups.
