Yeah, that's a concern I have with Eberflus. Like I said, I'm hopeful this move and some revamped picks on defence can make the team as Jerry-proof as possible lol.

If had traded for Mahomes you guys would be *****ing ! We Got 5 players with trading Parsons plus an extra 1st round Pick ! Signed 3 traded for 2 really good tackles ! So tired of tge media bad mouthing every trade we make LijeI said we could had traded for Mahomes and we would still get an F from the Media ! Colts giving up 2 1 s for a DB come on but the media loved it !

2 1st round picks this coming draft.
Jerry probably considers the GB 1st as their even higher 2nd rounder this year.

They got 2 dudes that aren't 1/2 year rentals.

So it basically boils down to Parsons and a 2nd for Williams, Clark and Wilson. That's a tough call. But keep in mind, they don't have to pay Parsons also which also has to be considered. Money they can use to sign their own and go get a couple decent players.

Welp.. not so fast. It's been said that Clark was also chosen for the out in his contract next year. No way I see Jerry paying 3 DL more than 20+ a year. Unless Clark takes a huge pay cut, I don't see him as part of the haul next year (no matter what Jerry says to the press) which makes the Parsons trade even worse than it already was.

I agree that Jerry panicked (bolded my corrections). I think Jerry gave up too much at this point of the year when it's highly unlikely they sniff the playoffs. Love Williams, but they are getting him at his contract peak for 2 years and him possibly beginning to decline when the rest of the team is in disarray. I guess I can't blame him since they have been horrible at drafting DT, just wish it was for the worse 1st rd pick vs the better one. However, it's also the usual try and maximize while Dak is a decent qb - since he's also horrible at drafting qbs as well. Time will tell.

Exactly, and I think this move has a chance to give us a much better defence. If it can help our offense get back to a simpler offense knowing they don't have to press so much, it's bound to result in better games for us,. especially down the stretch.

good moves today but probably will not see results this year. this team is done this year. i do not see this team finishing with anymore then three more wins maybe four.

I am now wondering if the Cowboys ask Osa to drop 10-15 pounds and move to DE. Might give them a D-Law like presence on the edge now that they have Williams, Clark, and Thomas inside.
