NY Giants - 24 vs Washington Commanders - 17 Game Thread**

It's hard to root for the Giants, especially since from a distance it looks like they're playing the Packers. I have to keep reminding myself that they're playing the Commanders.

Plax just spiked the ball and got no penalty for it. I guess TO is the only one that gets penaltilized for this infraction.
#1 he was on the sidelines
#2 the ref had his back to plax
#3 the rule sucks

#4 It wasn't spiked at the feet of a Commanders player

Thats not the new rule.

The new rule doesnt allow to spike the ball wherever you spike it.

campbell got away with another pass that hit a giant defender in the hands

Does anyone remember those cheesy 70s era vampire movies when the vampire would rise from the grave, put on sunglasses, and hang out at a disco? That look reminds me of Joe Gibbs today.

My addition was probably in error. Looking for the official rule now...

Madison should have had that pick, but I see Campbell gift wrapping them a few more of those throws.

I'll never say anything bad about Flozell again, that tackle sucks.

Commanders are doing something we couldn't. Touch Eli.
The difference is the gnats knew they had to help Diehl against Ware. They thought he could handle Carter without help. They thought wrong.

Lot's of 3 step drops though which makes it almost impossible to get any presure from the outside

Actually, the ref was looking right at him. As soon as the ref called it incomplete, out of bounds, he spiked it. The ref then chased the ball to go pick it up. But, I agree, the rule does suck.

Giants already have 4 dropped passes. Did they have that many against us in the entire game? Legitimate question because I really don't remember.
