I think Eli can pass all over this secondary if his receivers can hold onto the ball.

Pretty sure he was standing behind the ref.

Well, whatever...it's rather insignificant anyways. I just know I was looking in disbelief, thinking that I couldn't believe the ref would just let that happen. In any case, the ref didn't get the ball handed to him and the ball was several yards away on the ground. Don't know what else the ref could've thought. Plus, there are more than just one of them.

Look for it dude, Im pretty sure on what Ive wrote since Ive listened to those explanations all two weeks long.
Okay, dude. NFL.com's Digest of Rules ( http://www.nfl.com/rulebook/digestofrules )doesn't have squat about the rule, which doesn't make any freaking sense. The site does have "New rules for 2007" webpage ( http://www.nfl.com/kickoff/story?id=09000d5d801e3eb1&template=without-video&confirm=true ) which includes: "Spiking of ball: It will now be a five-yard penalty for a player to spike or throw the ball after a down has ended, except for after a touchdown. “We did not think this type of spiking was good for sportsmanship or the administration of the game by officials,” says McKay."

That's about as specific as American foreign policy right now. So, as it reads right now, it could mean that a player, running into the tunnel after a down, who spikes the ball would draw a penalty. That's pretty smart. You're right and I was wrong.

Why didn't Moss get a penalty for flicking the ball like that? Yet when T.O does it, he gets one immediately

Our wins against the Giants and @Miami are looking less impressive...while the Commanders wins against Miami and @Philly and now them doing this to the Giants makes me quite nervous about our hype and previously thought dominance.
