He landed, it came up off his body, went down, the point of the ball hit the ground and it bounced back up and then he pulled it back in.

It was 100% conclusive, it wasn't even in question.
No, it didn't. His hand was under it.

I disagree....It wasn't 100% conclusive.

I expected to see the ball hit the ground, but I never did.

But.....I don't have an HDTV....maybe that's my excuse.

Yes, clearly the ball came out....but I think Theogt has a point. From the angle shown, it was impossible to tell whether or not the ball hit the ground.

Not sure if you have the benefit of a large HDTV display with DVR, but even in the frame they show with the player blocking the view you can tell the ball comes loose and is on the ground without any hands on the ball.

I'd take a picture of the paused frame if I had a camera. It's crystal clear, no doubt about it.

Enough of the bickering though. The skins got back the chipshot field goal they missed so it didn't really make a difference.

Yeah, I've got a large HDTV with the benefit of DVR. Went back and watched it several times.

Never touched the ground.

From above, it looks VERY CLEAR that it touched the ground. That's the problem. The above angle is deceiving. When you look at it from the side angle you can tell his hand was under the ball. After that it never came close to the ground. It was several inches from the ground at all times.

You're seeing what you want to see at this point. Way to look like a fool to everybody not childish enough to get involved in this back and forth.

the skins do not look all that great. right now the giants are a team where EVERYTHING that can go wrong will. All those drops by Burress; campbell getting lucky on a couple of passes that could have been picked; etc.
Still no real pass rush from the Skins D line that would impress anyone with a halfway decent O line.

Yes, I look like a fool and I'm childish because I disagree with you about a call on the field.

Try not getting so worked up over such a little thing.

If the Commanders win today, their opponents will have a combined 1-8 record.

Of course, if we win tonight, our opponents will have the same record.

Their defense is good. They are a blitzing team. If you stop their blitzes, big plays will follow.

I also think they can be run on....still......

But they've put more pressure on Manning in one half of football than we did in a whole game.

Of course, it's impossible to match our games. We match up totally different than the Skins. The first game, there's not a lot of game film, and teams are still feeling their own way.

The Giants are a beaten team. I think we did a lot to crush their spirit.

I have DVR too, you can see the point of the ball hit the ground from EVERY angle they showed. From the one you claimed his hand was under it, just as the ball comes back into view from behind the player you can see the point of the ball hit the ground, it bounces back up and comes back into his body...it isn't even close.

I watched it over and over.....the ball absolutely did not hit the ground. It was a catch all the way.

Nothing against Blindzebra.....I now know why they call him "blind". ;)

And hermit....shouldn't you be discussing this game with your Commander buddies on a Commander board?

Sorry, I'm just seeing something completely different.

Are you really using our defense to say we arent looking great? I guess one touchdown in 10 quarters isnt good. Also, how can you talk about our pass rush when we have more sacks then you. Our offense needs a little work but our defense clearly doesn't have many issues.

They are 20-15, and the ball clearly hit the ground...I suggest you make a trip to the eye doctor.;)

Eli's receivers are actually holding onto the ball and they're having no trouble driving down the field.

If they'd held onto the ball all game, they'd probably have the lead.
