Lol, are you kidding? The ball bounces of the ground back into his lap.
No, it didn't touch the ground, so it couldn't have possibly bounced off it.

This isn't the same team we beat the first game.

I really think we crushed their spirit.

The Giants are a mentally weak team.

So why did it go down and then back up?

The darn thing CLEARLY hit the ground...dude just admit you were wrong.

Is that even legal (by nfl rules)? To hire another teams coach in the middle of the season. I don't think so otherwise a guaranteed non playoff team would fire their coach and then hire the coach of a playoff guaranteed division rival, in an attempt to ruin their superbowl run.

No, it wouldn't be legal but that's not what I was saying. If Coughlin gets fired within the next couple of weeks he'll probably be replaced with an interim coach from his own staff while Cowboys fans have to deal with the rumor of Garrett's name surfacing as his replacement for the upcoming season.

I should've been more clear about that.

Skins looking solid.
Take away 4 drops by Burress and it's a completely different game. They haven't exactly been moving the ball that well against possibly the worst (outside of the Bengals) defense in the league.

Your anti Commanders bias is clouding your view. The ball comes out clearly.

Plexico fell awkwardly and the force from the ground caused him to lose control of the ball. It went back up because of his fall... and the way he was holding the ball.

I don't think it was clear at all and I don't agree with ogt all that often. The first replay they showed was blocked by a 'Skins player. The other replay was higher up and wasn't enough IMO to overturn it.

The top angle was deceiving. Bad call. From the side you could tell it never touched the ground.

I honestly saw the same thing. From the side angle, it never touched the ground. They showed it before they went to break but they didn't show it again after they came from the break. While he was juggling the ball, it never touched the ground while he was on the ground. He controlled it with his body. Oh well, guess they saw something differently.

Yes, clearly the ball came out....but I think Theogt has a point. From the angle shown, it was impossible to tell whether or not the ball hit the ground.

It probably did.....just like Witten was probably short of the first down against Seattle in January.

To overturn a replay you MUST have conclusive visual evidence. I'm not sure it was conclusive enough.

Right. Because my anti-Commanders bias clearly outweighs my anti-Giants bias.

LOL. Just callin' it like I see it. When you combine the side shot with the top shot you can tell it never hits the ground. It appears to bounce off the ground, but his hand is under it. You can tell that when it's at its lowest point his hand is under it. After that it never comes close to the ground.

The Giants might get the number one pick in the draft. SERIOUSLY.

He landed, it came up off his body, went down, the point of the ball hit the ground and it bounced back up and then he pulled it back in.

It was 100% conclusive, it wasn't even in question.

One of those drops wasn't exactly "a drop"-it was good coverage, which made Burress wait 'till the last minute to adjust-it was understandable why he dropped it.

Garrett is not going anywhere, he was hired before Wade even was.

You're preaching to the choir here. I never said that Garrett was going anywhere and I do realize that he's being groomed as our future head coach here in Dallas. Still, it's not going to stop the rumors from surfacing as his name keeps coming up as a head coach for other organizations. I used the Giants in this case since it looks like Coughlin will be the first one to be fired this season and the fact that they're familiar with Garrett's style of coaching.
