NYG, Phil &Wash had better FA than Dallas

While we decided to win 6 meaningless games. Idiotic team management.

We did the same thing this year. Once dak went down there was no reason to keep trying to win we were near the top in losing players to injury. Thats when you tank but jerruh was too stupid for it.

The Giants signing Leonard Williams and Golliday to big contracts tells me they are not going to keep Barkley when his contract is up. They had so little CAP room to start the season and are still signing free agent players. We'll have to see the contracts but I don't see how they can fit Williams and Golliday under the CAP unless they are taking big CAP hits in the later years of their contracts. But that will be about the same time Barkley's rookie deal is up and their QB's contract will not be far behind. Maybe the Giants are going to try to build a team around the QB and that makes those positions less dependent on big time players.

If they take OL in the first round, like Slater, I think we will have our answer.

They have good offseason....but like every offseason just because you win the offseason doesn’t mean you win the regular season.

It’s not like all offers are done in a room with 32 team reps and every deal that’s completed means it was directly passed over by every other team

Obviously

Front offices have to reach out. Ours rarely does. That was my point.

The Cowboys won the FA war in the NFC East the second they signed Dak Prescott. Stop the propaganda that the Cowboys continue to fall deeper into the cellar of the Division, it's not true. Good people, take note of the haters that continue to post this propaganda garbage and stop paying attention to their lies. Ignore these pushers of negativity and fake news. Are there no rules here about spreading lies?

Did you expect us to go out and sign a bunch of big name people? That's not how Dallas does things. Have you not been paying attention the past many years?
Well, we did sign the hands down biggest and best name FA in the entire NFL.

people (not you specifically) continue to overlook that fact

It seems other teams in our division always acquire better vet FAs than we do! o_O

Obviously, we'd better be prepared to make the most of our ten draft picks though.

Tank how? Players and coaches don't tank a season. GMs do by handicapping their coaching staff by trading away all of the good players. No way Jerry does that with the intention of signing Dak.

I'm fairly certain that when people complain about a teams success or failure in FA, I think they're talking about improving the team, not resigning one of your own players.

I’m sure there would be a few people who would have been ok with the Cowboys not signing Dak and just letting him go.

That’s the only way they would have had more cap room this year and I hardly think anyone would say we had improved the team no matter which free agents we brought in.

Well, Pedersej certainly appeared to tank his team in week 17.

didn’t work out so well for him

Fitz probably going to have Washington dominate until like 4-0 then hit his typical wall. Dallas will get off to a horrible start then slowly close the gap
