Just saw on ESPN that hit to knee against Browns resulted to something more serious than originally thought. Likely misses game against us and perhaps more. Looking for link.

Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. avoided a season-ending injury on Monday night, but it still could keep his season from starting.

Jordan Ranaan and Dan Graziano of ESPN.com (so what no f–kin’ Schefty now?) report that Beckham’s sprained ankle could keep him out of the Week One game against the Cowboys. One source told Ranaan and/or Graziano that it’s “not out of the question [Beckham] could miss a week or two of the regular season.”

Not me. I hope its serious. I don't care about him. Just like Giants fans are happy for Zeke being suspended. I'm happy for OBJ being injured. Frankly, I can't stand him.

They are just hyping it up.. Odell will be ready for week 1. He has almost three weeks to get over his hurt feelings.

I want to see us play and beat the best always but in a way OBJs injury might help get rid of one raggedy preseason game and push for at least one more game that counts. How would a 17 game season work or would it? Never studied that scenario.

I think the prevailing thinking over the years has been a jump to 18...pretty much always goes in two's...12 (1960) to 14 (thru 1977) to 16 (current)...etc.
