Sims was at SLB in the second defensive series in the 1st quarter with Lee and Carter still in at the other spots. Durant was back in the game in the 2nd quarter at SLB with Sims at WLB.

I just think when all is said and done Sims will be the starter. He is just a middle out there with Lee and Carter. He reminds me a bit of Darren Smith. I really like this set of LB we have on this team.

This team is still undisciplined. They get in the red zone and then start getting penalized and end up with a FG. If Garrett can't correct this it will cost us big time in the regular season. I don't think he will and we'll have to just deal with it. Its something that should be easily corrected but it has been going on for years.......

"Bennett said. "Everybody loved Witten so much. I thought they wanted me to be exactly like him. But that wasn’t my game. There are a lot of things Witten does well. And there are a lot of things that I do well that he doesn’t do. I think they loved that model of a tight end that they tried to pressure me to be exactly like him.
"Me and Eli are a lot closer than I was with (Tony) Romo," Bennett said. "I think Romo is a great quarterback. And I think he’s done some great things for the Cowboys. But I just think his relationship with Witten is one of those special things they were able to build.

Maybe jealousy wasn't the right word. But he made it pretty clear why he left. He was envious of Witten's role, if not of Jason himself. He wanted to be the guy, he said it over and over. I don't think he would have stayed even had we given him a nice offer.
LOL
I remember when he said that.
Then late in the year when Eli was furious with him--and was later on board with letting him go--I wondered "what does Marty B think now about that cozy Eli relationship now?".
Hilarious.

BTW, I think he'll do well in Chicago. He's a pretty good all-around TE.

Sean Lee is amazing. What a player! A turnover machine. Frederick is exactly what we needed in the middle. Wilcox is going to be another playmaker.
Is it me or do we look better on offense with Lance Dunbar in the game.
We have a very good team, but it is a house of cards if we start losing guys. I guess you could say that about most teams. Our DL depth is not up to snuff.
Really excited about our OL. That Left side looks like it could become dominant.
I'm not worried about Escobar. If you listen to interviews, he seems like a hard worker. He'll get there. He is an example of why you draft a guy 2 years before you need him.

Yeah! I just can't wait till we can watch with our full defensive unit out there! (Claiborne, Spencer, Ratliff)
