I am more concerned about the special teams coordinator.

The others are simple cases of waiting something out. I just don't see much on the special teams front that could be any better than what we had.

I just fear we will do something incredibly foolish, like sign Bill Bates to coach it.

I'm with you. Under Parcells, our coverage teams & kick returns were pretty durn stout. Punting has become very nice too. The only thing that could improve is punt return and FGs (both kicking & blocking). But those aren't the major points - I just want our kick return to stay as good as it has been.

The source of that same fear in me subsided when JJ went with WP instead of Norval.

The only thing that could improve is punt return and FGs (both kicking & blocking). But those aren't the major points - I just want our kick return to stay as good as it has been.

You are kidding right...our Special Teams sucked the entire time that DeHaven was here. Coverage was average at best and we had nothing for runbacks. I don't see how we could be much worse off than we were with DeHaven here.

What's Joe Avezzano doing nowadays?

He was filling in for Waters on the Radio broadcasts last year so he is probably available. I wouldn't mind seeing him back here getting our STs back on track.
