I'm less concerned about not touching the guy and more concerned about how bad he looked in coverage on that play.
The not touching the guy down part can easily be fixed. His problems in coverage have proven more difficult to remedy.
Did Garrett say this? I thought I heard announcers say it right after the play. I can't believe Garrett used the word ain't
Haha wow. Overreaction much?
Although out of position as a MLB, Carter did make some nice plays in the game. He sniffed out a screen and sht it down for a big loss as well as had a tackle or two for a loss.Carter is a player who will never reach his potential and Dallas should look to replace him as soon as next year.
It was on Carter and Heath, too. They both just stood there and watched.
Ugh that play still pisses me off. Luckily it didn't end up costing them the game.
Well this isn't the first time Carter made bone headed play, there has been several this year which led to his benching before. Heath made mistake as well, but I don't lie nonchalant comment of "it is what it is" by Carter.
Carter can still be a good player.
What baffles me is our stupid coaches still getting him matched up on wheel routes whenever our opponents want it.
Your statement baffles me, he has responsbilty he is going to get matched up and others in the secondary are in matchups. Carter has a job to do he is expected to do it. Then again any time you can slam the coaches you do.
I'm shocked you are not upset that they called pass plays to get us down to the 15 yard line instead of running the ball.
Because the guy is clearly not being used to his strengths. That is a basic thing for a coach to do.
If he is so bad at covering wheel routes then you design plays that limits teams to get that matchup. It's not going to eventually start magically getting better unless we adjust in some way.
