Oddly, this game was confirmation for me that the Cowboys are right there

LOL.

I said he played great. In multiple threads. I said if you get that Dak the rest of the season then could make the SB.

But I also said reality is Dak is inconsistent and you go game to game not knowing which Dak will show up.
Yep and I was the one telling you that if you expected another great performance against the Niners D you were going to be disappointed. Common sense.

NO QB is going to be consistent playing the Niners D. AGain, common sense.

You think Dak played like a top 10 QB tonight? If so, your opinion doesnt matter. That is NOT what top 10 QBs play like in the biggest game of his life. Im no Rush fan, but he wins that game tonight with zero picks. Top 10. lol Rookie Purdy is better than Dak already.. Is Purdy top 5 in your opinion? lol
LOL.

Rush doesn’t win that game. Christ our fan base tonight, LOL

eeeek, I missed that. Dak top 10? Ummmmmmm....no. Not even.

And before anyone asks, 10 better than him: Rodgers, Allen, Burrow, Mahomes, Herbert, Stafford, Barbie, Hurts, Purdy, Jackson. Cousins and Carr on the same level.

It would be criminal to have Zeke back with that contract. Of the starters it's really Wilson, LVE, and Hankins on defense you consider bringing back. Offensively Steele will be back on a restricted tender. Then it's Pollard and Schultz. Pollard isn't going to be healthy during the free agent period and likely lost a lot of money. Schultz is going to get paid I think he's underappreciated here but have to weigh if it's more valuable to bring 2-3 other guys back for the cost of Schultz.
Agree 100%

Wait so it was Dak' fault Gallup caught it?
Gallup caught it despite of Dak. I see Gallup doing an amazingly high jump to catch a very overthrown ball that most any other receiver would've just had sail way over their heads. That was a good catch by Gallup and a bad throw by Dak.

I think we can say Dak stunk it up while also saying SF had the better team.

I truly believed they were the better team coming in and two best teams are in the NFC championship game.

28 years, ‍smh

you figured we’d at least dumb luck our way into 1, just 1 Conference Championship game.

Can’t even do that. Doesn’t matter how “close” we are or that it looks like we belong. We lost again and there’s truly no reason to believe that with the same QB we can get over that hump. This was the year. We could all feel it. First road win since 92, first time beating Brady, rematch against niners. Stars were beginning to align but the stars forgot that Dak and Jerry are still here.
So THIS was the year but we werent close?

If you thought this was the year, then thats on you. What stars were aligning? Is that when Pollard went out?

Jared Stidham has a 105 rating against them a few weeks ago. Stop.

Acting like the 49ers D is this impenetrable D that no QB can play well against is hilarious.

His interceptions weren’t great D. They were bad passes. It wasn’t great D that had him completely miss a wide open Hilton for a TD. It wasn’t great D that had him throw the ball behind Gallup late when he was wide open.

Stop. He stunk. In part because yes they were facing a good D but also because he just played poorly and stupidly.

A caught ball is a bad throw? Ok buddy. LOL

So 300 yards and 5 TD's is that a good game for a QB? Lets see if you can get that far.

No they didn't.
2007 Cowboys receivers:

Terrell Owens: 81 catches, 1,355 yards receiving, 15 TDs.

Jason Witten: 96 catches, 1,145 yards receiving, 7 TDs.

Patrick Crayton: 50 receptions, 697 yards receiving, 7 TDs.

2009 Cowboys receivers:

Miles Austin: 81 receptions, 1, 320 yards receiving, 11 TDs.

Jason Witten: 94 receptions, 1,030 receiving yards, 2 TDs.

Roy Williams: 38 receptions, 596 receiving yards, 7 TDs.

2022 Cowboys receivers:

CeeDee Lamb: 107 receptions, 1,359 receiving yards, 9 TDs.

Dalton Schultz: 57 receptions, 577 receiving yards, 5 TDs.

Noah Brown: 43 receptions, 555 receiving yards, 3 TDs.

All top 3 Cowboys receivers stats from either/or 2007 and 2009 are better than our current receiving numbers. Like I said before, it's not even close. Romo had better receiving weapons around him both in 2007 and 2009 than Dak did this 2022 season.

Oh well that proves it.:laugh::lmao::lmao2:

Dak played poorly? Yep we covered that one. Said that in my opening post.

How did he play against the Bucs? YOu still havent figured that one out yet. Thats a little disturbing.

Last week I picked the Cowboys to win on the zone, because despite what I think of brady and the playoffs I felt I pick the best team to win. This week I picked the 49ers because I felt they were the better team as are the Eagles.

Did the starting QB miss 5 games? Were the WR's coming off ACL surgery?

Yea, too many as usual got caught up in the hoopla thinking this team could go to SB. Too tough on the road in playoffs anyway.
