Generally curious as to what CZ thinks.

- It's a certainty

- 50/50

- Likely not

I am in the likely not campaign. He'll ignore the red flags blaring all season when we faced a quality team and instead convince himself the games where we were beating up bad teams is the real Cowboys. As has been noted by others, McCarthy is in the last year of his deal and Jerry has done this twice before with Garrett, believing that maybe that last year will incentivize the HC into doing his best work. Plus Jerry is probably loathe to pay two HCs because he probably views that as a failure and a blight against him and his great football acumen.

I'll go 50/50 but I can see that he might not. He'd be wrong though. Not having the team play in a playoff game is totally the coach's responsibility. McCarthy and Quinn just got schooled.

If the defense did its thing to keep us in the game but Dak and the offense put up the same pathetic performance, I think he fires mccarthy and hires quinn.

He has to with who's currently available, but wouldn't shock me if he doesn't.

The worst thing he can do right now is sit around and think of reasons why he should bring the conman back....five (5) minutes after the game, he should have been fired, driven out to DFW Airport, and left standing on the tarmac......still holding his laminated Waffle House menu.

50/50. That was embarrassing to another level yesterday. The Joneses like to be comfortable and MM makes him feel good so it’s 50/50.

Likely not. I know this team. He will make small coaching changes and run it back. Only to lose again next season.
Oh absolutely.

There is no reason to expect anything different next year. Rack up some regular season wins, bomb out early in the playoffs again. Then Jerry sits around for a few weeks waiting for McCarthy's contract to technically expire and then he'll do smoething.

probably 90% but it won’t matter.

He’s going to make a change, he planted the seed last week and the loss was beyond bad…

Jerry will bring him back. Who’s he going to replace him with that can do better?

Jerry knows he’s the problem but he’s not willing to go so far as to replace himself. That makes him very reluctant to blame others. So we hang onto guys like Garret for 10 years. MM isn’t going anywhere.

Because it is Jerry Jones, likely not. He will try to use the lame duck year as incentive hoping Big Mike does his best work and brings Dallas that miracle 6th SB title.

Jerry will force tweaks in the coaching staff. Al Harris will likely be the new DC once Quinn takes another job. The OL coach and other position coaches may have new names in place, but that will be it. Honestly, if Quinn doesn't get an HC job, he would be welcomed back as well.
