I used to love this guy.
But he's fallen into the 'defend everybody' mode which is too much like Wade for me.
And he now shoots his mouth off which comes off as ironic because he's talking to the media about a rat in the locker room about someone talking to the media.
What does he think because he's not anonymous while he's bashing his coaches for not being acountable that it's not going to create a rift of some sort just like the rift created by the anonymous player. Is he that dumb? Or he is just that oblivious?
He's on with Babe this week talking about Wade and how he won 13 games last year with his style. So just because he only won 9 games this year with the same style he doesn't understand why it's a problem.
I guess winning 13 games, but no playoffs game is 'ok' for Terence Newman.
He also talks about how there is no need to be mad in the locker room after the game because the games over and it's only going to make them sweat a little more for no reason.
My question is this?
Wouldn't just pure emotion still have you angry in the locker room mere minutes after being embarrassed on National TV?
I am starting to understand this team the more I hear them blab.
They get so much attention for just being 'Dallas Cowboys' that in some ways it replaces the idea that they have to actually win something to be recognized. They can still be losers all they want because they will still be on ESPN, and they will still have radio and TV shows, and they will still be millionaires and they will still be 'Stars'.
They just won't ever be champions.
It is what it is.
