Time to destroy this idiotic myth that the offense "struggled" Sunday night.

We know the defense was spectacular and the FG block TD was enormous.

Now let's talk offense.

Dallas scored 27 points in 7 drives (3.9 points per drive) with Dak at QB.

On what planet is that "bad" or "sputtering" like I've been reading here??????

3.9 points per drive is "bad"????

It would literally be #1 in the NFL BY A MILE if we kept up that pace for a season.

NFL average for all teams in Week 1 was 1.65 points per drive, and we more than doubled that.

Oh, and we did it in pouring rain, on the road.

Excellent start to the season from ALL 3 phases.
The offense didn’t turn the ball over which kept the momentum on our side. Complementary football at its best.

I simply asked if he thinks 265 total yards is enough to get it done most weeks. It was Sunday, but will it be against the 49ers in a few weeks or the Jets this week? If I said we only get 265 total offensive yards next week would you think that we win that game?

It's a simple question
I'll help. The answer is "no". But, because I am who I am ya'll would rather argue then just agree.
"Hey, I'm just asking questions!" Give me a break.

In a driving deluge of rain, the offense did OK. Would've looked a lot better had Hendershot caught the TD pass but it is what it is. I am sure they are going to want to look better this week, the TE's looked the worst.
Bingo. The TEs were the only thing that caused me to be worried. Jake Ferguson dropped a first down catch and Hendershot dropped a TD. This week the TEs need to step it up. Well they need to step it up for every week cuz their performance was bad.

You've made a lot of silly arguments in the past, but this may be the silliest.

I don't know if you know this, but an offense can't gain yards in a drive after they put the ball in the end zone. The Cowboys scored TDs on 38- and 50-yard drives: that's all they could gain on those drives. You shouldn't assume the offense was only *capable* of putting up 38 yards on that first drive. It's like watching a 1-yard TD run and saying, "that running back stinks! One yard per carry isn't going to get it done!"

I don't know if you know this, but when you put your backups in and do nothing but hand off for the last 12 minutes of a game, you aren't going to put up much in the way of yards.

Dallas had a 75-yard TD drive and two long FG drives to go with those short TD drives, and they would have had more if TEs weren't dropping balls in their hands in the driving rain.

Only a complete fool would think that 265 yards in this game has any bearing on the yardage the Cowboys would put up in a competitive game. Or that scoring on 5 of 7 drives and committing no turnovers, in the driving rain, is somehow a poor performance by the offense.

In a typical game, an offense gets something like 10-12 drives. If the game is competitive, they are of course trying to score on all of those drives. Typically, a couple of those drives will come with a relatively short field. Prorate what happened Sunday to a more typical game and you're looking at a lot more yards and some more points.
100% when i said he had nothin' he doesnt get it... thats very telling.

So now you're saying the weather doesnt affect gameplans?
No, but this if the Cowboys can't do it nobody can mindset is just funny.

If the Cowboys can't go 75 yards in the rain then nobody can! lololololol

The Giants basically did it on their first drive until a botched snap and penalty moved them back.

Your emotions just won't allow you to stop will they?

Did you notice how I stopped responding to you originally? That's because I am not emotionally invested in this discussion like you. I can't quit it if I want. You can't.

LOL, you always say stuff like that. Even the biggest Dak non-Stans can see your act. Your lack of objectiveness is basically like an out of control alcoholic that no one can help.

I'm not required to be objective.

I leave the delusions to you guys. I prefer to stay grounded in logic.

What team you know threw for 300+ in the rain when their defense is dominating? Thats what you being "critical" of the offense for not doing.
