I like the pick. I think you have to have someone to stick on the new trend of the smallish, quick slot WR. that's the Wash pick.

Choice was the guy they were trading down for, Chan Gailey was his head coach and he's compared to Marion Barber. If Barber gets hurt we don't want to put Felix Jones in the position to have to carry the load.
Seems like a lot of money/picks invested in the running game though, doesn't it?

If we can get Hillis or Schmitt in the 5th, we'll have one heck of a backfield.

We'll be able to do a bit of everything from smash mouth to quick strikes.

True, but I thought there was significant value there at safety and OL.

We'll line up Bennett against him in the red zone. :D

Coming in to the draft Barber and a practice squad guy were the only ones on the roster. We came in needing two rbs and got two good ones. Choice was taken at 122 and he was 94 on Goose's top 100

We went into the draft with only one RB on the roster, and he's a RFA to boot.

I think we went in to this looking for two backs from the get go.

I know but can imagine the ragging Jerry will take if he picks another Hog?

Who cares? Players are players.

Crap double. I was hoping he would last till 5th round, due to his injury situation. Damn good pick by Eagles, if he fully recovers I guess.

Risk with him is that his ACL tear can be the kiss of death for a CB. I was willing to wait until round six, but not earlier.
