Vested veterans don't go through waiver claims at this point. They become free agents. After the trade deadline everyone goes through waivers.

Depends on the players tenure or vestured seasons.

Guys like Damien Wilson and Billy Johnson become Free Agents. They don't have to go through team waivers.
