Interesting logic you've applied here.

Well I'm sure if people were posting we were going to the Super Bowl, he wouldn't be complaining, even though that would be more embarrassing to this board.

you take away two bad pass routes by TO and Witten....

and some questionable calls by the officials and Romo is

A GOD

Romo didn't lose the game all by himself, Proctor helped witih his inept play...and garrett CHOKED because more than once Palamalou was lining up on the line, and no one was on him, everytime that guy lined up on the scrimmage line, he was on Choice in a matter of seconds....BAD COACHING....

and ofcourse I'll throw in...WADE SUCKS

Hard for me to explain. But I just don't think he is quite mature enough to think like a professional.

He wings it in the game and I suspect wings it a little in preparation.

He was obviously cold out there today. Shrugged it off as 'hey, its like a fall day in Wisconsin'. He hasn't played in Wisconsin in a while. Instead of methodically assessing how he could maximize his performance in cold weather and potentially wearing sleeves and maybe considering gloves, he laughs it off, wings it and heads out there. His hand was probably freezing so he couldn't throw accurately.

This is what I mean about being a professional....he needs to think more, prepare more - this is a job, a career, not sand lot football.

i hated the way he said that and then went and pushed everyone out of the way of that burner thing on the sidelines.

i lost some respect for romo today.

he's not focused enough.

It'd be equally stupid, true, but I doubt the stupidity would be nearly as rampant as this...hence needing a sticky.

So, you want to make a bet on the topic?

I'll bet $10,000 that we get to the Super Bowl by the time his contract is up, barring his injury.

He hasn't shown he can get it done to this point. And I'm not even talking about the Super Bowl. I'm talking about him winning one playoff game, or for that matter, even having a winning record in December.

Now I'm not saying he will never get there. He's still relatively young so I hope he does make it otherwise we'd have wasted another decade. But I have my doubts because at this point it's not just a fluke, its a trend. But I'm not a betting man so I'm not going to take you up on it, nor do I want to bet against our teams chances.

Now that I've had time to cool off, its time to put this in perspective. Romo is still a heck of a QB. He does take too many chances, but today I just thought the ball sailed on him more than anything.

Witten is quoted as saying the INT for a TD was "all Witten's fault". He slipped coming out of his break. Not sure what happend on the last play. Witten was not even looking for the ball.

Bottom line is Romo is a nice guy that is easy to root for. He's got a ton of natural talent and can drive defenses crazy. Now he needs somone like Mike Holmgran to give him some guidance......in a Parcells kind of way. I don't believe Garrett is that guy. I hope I'm wrong in this regard.

Finally, let's not forget that Dallas now controls its own destiny. I doubt Dallas can run the table with its schedule. But it wouldn't totally shock me either. Defense is playing great ball and we all know what the offense can do.

Long term, I sure hope Holland can go next Sunday. I think that is MORE important than Barber playing. Honestly, I could be convinced Holland, because of the drop off to Proctor, is the difference between a W and an L next week.

I really wish this wasn't merged. I intentionally wanted a positive Romo post on the board to counteract all the negativity. Oh well.

Tony was off today, but when the Giants are defeated next week, I'm sure most of you will regret posting in this thread.

I haven't read the entire thread, but...

Has anyone pointed out that the Steelers are really really good? Losing to them in their house ain't the end of the world.

I blame Romo for not being ambidextrous. RW11 was wide open there in the endzone, and if Romo could only throw better with his left hand, it could have been a game-breaker. ;)

Seriously, though, horrible game for Romo. Still love the guy, but he stank it up out there. Hopefully it was more about game conditions.
