*** Official Bash, Blame, Trade and Roast Tony Romo thread***

I'll pass. Romo isn't the problem.

I agree with Hos, Romo is talented enough to win with. Eventually though somebody has to get him to play in the middle some. R-Berger does that for the Steelers. While he didnt look like much for most of the game, he did avoid the killer turnovers that Romo had and made 2 or 3 great throws at key moments.

Romo is what I said in my other thread. He is really really great or really really bad. There is not any middle area with him. If Norv Turner gets run in San Diego I'd really love to see Norv on our staff working with Romo in some capacity.

C'mon guys, please don't sticky this. This is embarassing for the board.

What, you think we're going to the Super Bowl?

Romo will end his career as a good quarterback. Better than Aikman? Hell no.

Tony Romo is the reason we're a playoff caliber team. He makes this entire team. Without him, we're not a playoff team. We're not squat.

End of story.

When it comes to putting up great numbers in the regular season, Tony Romo is a great Fantasy QB. When to comes to playing a playoff contender, especially a Super Bowl contender, Tony Romo is the biggest choker in the NFL. This guy will never win a big game. I just hope the Steelers have enough respect to give Tony Romo the game ball, he did everything he could to give the Steelers the win.

Our defense played their hearts out, I am so darn proud of our defense I have no words for it. They showed up and gave everything they had. They just could not overcome Tony Romo playing for the Steelers instead of the Cowboys.

Aikman? At this point he's not even better than Danny White.

You can't imagine Favre or Manning w/ these weapons ever losing.

HUH? Harrison. Wayne. etc.

I think they've lost games before.

That was pretty much proven those 3 games we were without him.

He just cant have 4 turnovers in big games though.

This is true. Unfortunately it's not good enough. Like I said before, he's the best QB we've had since Aikman. But he still isn't clutch and can't get it done when it counts.

Wow....that's crazy.

Yeah, I kind of think so too. Of course there are many other officials, but the perception, at least, for me is there. I think Morelli is the worst(most manipulated)

I don't think Danny turned over the ball as much as Romo has at this point in both careers.

Romo has played well in big games before. I actually think he played well vs. the Gints in the playoffs. If Crayton could catch, Dallas wins that game. He played decent vs. the Seahawks two years ago, but sucked as a holder.

At the Gints last year Romo was money. He's led 4th quarter comebacks and showed he's capable of being clutch.

That said, his December play isn't up to par with the rest of his regular season. Now, facing Philly and Pitt could have something to do with that I suppose.

Being frustrated is normal. This is beyond normal. You guys simply haven't lived long enough.

Romo needs to learn from this. I don't know how many of those INTs were on him and/or the WR. But it does happen too much. If that continues then you have a beef. He has steadily albeit slowly decreased those turnovers. The fumble wasn't a fumble but still you must hang on to the ball better. Not sure how he needs to learn that.

But to call for a new QB is beyond ridiculous. It's actually very very saddening to hear all this. It transcends sports and reflects on us as human beings.

It truly saddens me.

On a positive note, this defense is a very good one. Not sure why Wade and/or Stewart called the dogs off but they need to learn from that one. Success all day then stop doing it for fear of giving up the big on. Well, it happened anyway.

We showed we belong. Tough loss. Troublesome turnovers and bad passing all around.

We're getting closer. So close that losing hurts the more.

We may have cooked our goose. But not yet.

This post made me laugh.

How old are you? I'm guessing 13, is that close?

Somebody tell me I'm not the only one that read this and laughed out loud.

24 hours from now, when you've had a chance to calm down, a lot of you are going to regret posting in this thread.

The guy had a bad day against a superb defense. It happens.

So, you want to make a bet on the topic?

I'll bet $10,000 that we get to the Super Bowl by the time his contract is up, barring his injury.
