Took the words right out of my mouth. He has all the stats, TD's, passing yards. But when it comes down to it. he cannot get it done, at least he's shown he cant so far. It not over yet but until he proves it to me, im a glass half empty guy as far as Romo goes! :bang2: :bang2:

You can put that same description to Payton Manning's resume.

This is Tony's 2nd full season!?

We have seen what this team is like without him already. Do we really want to go there????

Romo is not without flaws. He needs to learn that sometimes throwing the ball away is OK. He needs to understand when the game is this close, you can't afford to take unnecessary chances. Someone (Coach!!!) please breakdown Big Ben's throws...........unless your WR is open, DON"T throw it. Esp in these tight games when you are LEADING.

Neither could roger staubach. He was 0-4 against the Steelers in his career.

I know I was hoping Romo was more like Aikman (3-0) against the Steelers than Stabauch.

The O-line blocked their hearts out. It's a shame Romo picked this game to mess up.

No they didn't... Proctor was getting pushed back... Many times Romo was running for his life trying to keep plays alive... He had a couple of fubles recovered because of the pressure.... That TD he had to TO was purely his own, running from the pressure...

Tony Romo can leave Pittsburgh with thier head held high.

Every single player besides Romo played well enough to win this game. Plain and simple.

Live with Tony, die with Tony.

Of course we can't have it both ways, but as happy as he makes us, he frustrates us just the same. And until he wins one big game, let alone a playoff run, I'll be left wondering if we will ever go to the dance with him at QB.

This was a prime example, the defense was amazing. Easily played well enough to win.

Romo's turnovers were the difference. Period.

If we lose next week, and he doesnt play lights out, we could be in long term trouble.

He's won a few big games 2 games with the Giants 1 in '06 and 1 in '07 both on the road, last year against GB, '06 vs the Colts. But you're right you have to take the good with the bad with him, many times we really do win or lose based on his play I guess that's true for almost every team. I'd still take him over Bledsoe or Brad though!

Hey Texas Tech brotha, have we had a sicker couple of weeks or what? OU anhilates us knocking us out of virtually everything (national championship, any BCS bowl and any chance of a Heisman) and then our Cowboys lose a heartbreaker today and are on the ropes of even making the playoffs.

Throw in the economy and the beating I took in the stock market and I can't think of a more painful few weeks.

Thank God I have high brow problems

No doubt about that man....Lubbock has certainly calmed down quite a bit :)

Are you an alumni?

He can not win a big game and these last three games are big games. We are going against playoff contenders, something Romo will choke against the majority of the time. Here is who we have left.

1. The NY Giants. They had an embarassing loss to the Eagles today, so that is real bad news for us. The Giants are gonna come in playing hard and violent. I look for at least 3 if not 4 costly interceptions by our choker for a QB, and throw in at least 1 costly fumble as well. Romo wins the game for the Giants all by himself.

2. The Ravens. This will be a tough game where I think Dallas could win in spite of Romo throwing at least 3 more interceptions and fumbling 1 more away. Our defense will be good enough to hold the Ravens offense in check long enough for something to go right on offense where we might win this one.

3. The Eagles. They are right back in the playoff hunt, they beat an excellent NY Giants team today. You better believe they are going to be a force to deal with and they will be playing at Super Bowl level. As long as they have Donovan McNabb they are a dangerous team. My guess is this game will come down to whoever wins this final game will make the Wild Card. Since this will be a big game, look for Romo to do a big choke job. 4 interceptions at least.

Why Romo can't just settle in and run the offense 10 yards at a time and take first downs and move the chains in these big games is beyond me....He really stunk today...

Again, Romo doesn't call the plays... He doesn't design them... Romo has progressions... The WRs run routes that Garrett calls.. Romo plenty of times goes through his progression and throws that dump-off to Barber or Choice when nothing is there...

This is on Garrett...

I love Romo, I really do. Without him I do not even think we are a .500 team.

What is truly worrisome though is that the last time he did not fumble or throw an INT in a game was 9/16 last year against the Dolphins.

It is somewhat funny to me to read all the Favre hate only to realize that we have the Favre starter-kit right here in Dallas.

He does something stupid every game, some games he does it over and over. You just don't know which Romo is going to show up.

And Garrett needs to start using his weapons a little better. Hundreds of OC's would love to be in his position.

I have to agree. This game was on Romo. I'm certain that Witten probably ran the wrong route but that ball was so high that I don't believe it would have mattered. Romo was high on almost every pass he threw today. I don't know what the problem was. Maybe they shouldn't have taken off the brace.

One thing is sure. Good teams win those kinds of games. We don't do that.

I"m still p*** off beyond belief, but I couldn't have said what you said better...

The last two games were against Seattlol and SF. Pressure? hah.

He was also under pressure those other four times he turned the ball over today. Didn't fare so well then, did he?

And the Commanders game?

This game was against the number one defense in the league...

Last year, the offensive line totally collapsed in the play-offs...

It is his second year starting for a full season and you claim he 'chokes' under pressure?

With any other QB we don't score that TD in the 3rd quarter. Take the good with the bad.

I'm concerned that too many of our TD's are Tony Romo improvised scores. They are nice to have but you need to execute consistently to have a good offense. We are becoming too much like the early 90's Eagles teams with Randall Cunningham. This improvising too much cost us two INT's in my opinion.

We completely wear out a rookie RB who had nothing left in the 4th quarter. Where's the help there?

We don't know that he was worn out, because he didn't get the ball in the 4th quarter. Garrett was too busy trying to throw it to the intermediary routes when we had the lead.

The kid from Texas Tech can sling it, as well as a few others, but if you think WR's are hard to develop....god I don't want to go through another young QB learning the ropes. Romo is totally salvagable. He just needs better coaching, someone he trusts so that he'll start throwing the ball away instead of running around scattter brained like a cheap Favre imitator. He has to smarten up basically. He knows what to do IMO, just doesn't think he has to do it.

I'll take Romo over Drew Bledsoe, Vinny Testaverde, Quincy Carter, Clint Stoerner, Ryan Leaf, Brooks Bollinger, Brad Johnson, and especially Chad Hutchinson.

They should have been better prepared for the weather. The boys hasn't played a cold weather game for over 1 yr. With the long week since Thanksgivings, the staff probably should have left for Pittsburg early and get 1-2 practice in at Pitt. This allows QB and WR to get use to pass/catch in the wind and cold. PR/KR to adjust to the wind etc......

Romo was off the target for most of the day. You probably can argue that he was off target all day. The ball sails on him numerous times and never did Ben had problem....that's home field advantage and knowing the weather.

Romo didn't play well and lost the game but coaches should help prepare these players against the other team...environment as well!
