Romo = most overrated QB in the NFL.

Careful people are about to call you every name in the book to belittle your intelligence.

They should have been better prepared for the weather. The boys hasn't played a cold weather game for over 1 yr. With the long week since Thanksgivings, the staff probably should have left for Pittsburg early and get 1-2 practice in at Pitt. This allows QB and WR to get use to pass/catch in the wind and cold. PR/KR to adjust to the wind etc......

Romo was off the target for most of the day. You probably can argue that he was off target all day. The ball sails on him numerous times and never did Ben had problem....that's home field advantage and knowing the weather.

Romo didn't play well and lost the game but coaches should help prepare these players against the other team...environment as well!

True - the environment was a factor on both teams but the Steelers minimized mistakes not throwing too many risky passes. I would have felt a little better if Romo wore gloves today.

Proctor cost us the game just as much as Romo and Garrett and Read - there is plenty of blame to go around on this one.
Was Keith Davis still out when they gave up the big return?

Wade and Garrett didn't make Romo throw passes too high for receivers, too far ahead of receivers, behind receivers, etc... Ultimately Romo has to take responsibility for the fact that he has been throwing some HORRIBLY out of wack passes recently.

THAT is what Owens means when he says they're not given the chance. I don't think Owens stopped on the Polomalu INT. Maybe I"m way off, but either way, if he keeps going, I wonder if he even makes the catch...not exactly a well thrown ball (solid play by Polomalu though)

I'll take Romo over Drew Bledsoe, Vinny Testaverde, Quincy Carter, Clint Stoerner, Ryan Leaf, Brooks Bollinger, Brad Johnson, and especially Chad Hutchinson.

and Drew Henson.:)

That's surprising since they had so many days off. And when they did practice, they were inside because it gets so cold in Dallas.

you actually expected THIS staff to be prepared...no disrespect, but that was stupid.

They can call me whatever they want. Romo has choked in 2 playoff games. He has choked in real big games as well. Phillips had a good game plan, the team ready to play. I guess the only thing Phillips could be blamed for is not having the team prepared enough for Romo to choke yet again in a big game. Romo is a choker.

The weather didn't seem to be as much of a factor as we feared coming in. Romo was just off today. He's like that sometimes.

This is where good coaching will help a team win these close games.

Parcells probably will have them play outside naked just to get use to the cold.

Yes, Romo threw the INT's but the coaches did us no favors.

And Anthony Wright, and Brad Johnson.

I forgot about AW, throw in Randall Cunningham as well. Wow what a scrap heap of former Cowboy QB's.

I don't think the weather had much to do with it. This was a good ol' fashioned Romo stinkfest. He's good for 1-2 a season.

This is ALL on ROMO.

Anyone who blames a defense who gives up 13 points is out of their mind.

Anyone who wants to blame WADE is out of their mind.

Anyone who blames ANYONE else is out of their mind. We had the game in hand. The most frustrating thing?:

Romo choked yet again, as is his custom. He will go home with Jessica on one arm smirking the whole way. The dude has no mental toughness to speak of, when it counts.

LOL!!!!! :laugh2:

Idiotic posts like this make me laugh till I nearly cry. You're clearly as ignorant as this post indicates.

Romo shoulders a good deal of the blame, without a doubt, but if you think he's the only one to blame you'd either have to be 8 years old or just plain stupid.

He should have known Romo was going to choke because that's what he always does. So he should have gameplanned for Romo doing some really dumb things with the football.

I'm concerned that too many of our TD's are Tony Romo improvised scores. They are nice to have but you need to execute consistently to have a good offense. We are becoming too much like the early 90's Eagles teams with Randall Cunningham. This improvising too much cost us two INT's in my opinion.

:bow::bow::bow::bow::bow::bow::bow::bow:

Like I said, our offense is ghetto ball...

If it was worse it may have been better for us because Garrett could call less risky throws. The wind was a BIG factor and the ball took off quit a few times. Who knows, maybe Romo needs to get the splint back on.

I am not sure where the staff can be blamed. Everyone on the team looked prepared except Romo. Romo = Steelers game MVP.

Finally somebody with common sense, and can be a Cowboys fan and not be naive and ignorant. Go ahead and defend homo because he puts up good statistics against bad teams and jumps up and down like a fairy when he throws a td against a 2 win team. Just because he is a Cowboy doesnt make him the best, nor if he is someones favorite player does that make him good. The people who criticize people for being realistic about romo are in denial. Nobody can make an argument that romo is good other then his statistics. Anybody with any common sense knows stats dont tell the story. Making plays in the clutch with your back against the wall tells the story. Hence Roethisberger today, and theres a reason he has a ring. And if anybody says he was on a great team, remember he was picked #11 overall, and no other rookie qbs have had the season he did, Flacco and Ryan arent far behind. Because rookie qbs are ever that good, and usuall dont win the SuperBowl their 2nd year.

And if anybody wants to argue that and say it was his team, then you cant have it both ways and must say romo had the benefit of 4 years on the bench, and the benefit of TO, Glenn, Witten, Jones, Barber. A qb does need talent around him to win, but that talent doesnt amtter if the qb cant carry the load when he needs to. romo has proven he cant carry the load on his frail shoulders, he needs everyone around him to make him look good, he isnt capable of making the players around him better, because they were great before romo ever was.

you might not like TO, but its not a coincidene that he posted hall of fame numbers with other teams and those teams were more successful while he was there then after he left, and he comes to Dallas and when romo plays after 4 years on the bench, puts up good numbers. When TO is gone, romos pretty statistics will worsen while his turnovers increase. TO might be a jerk at times but that doesnt mean he sucks because he cant make romo look good all the time.

Romo is a coward, look today when he just falls so he wont get hit when he is sacked by Kirske. And against Seattle on the intentional grounding, he turns his back and hunches over to avoid getting hit. A real man like Troy Aikman never did that, and thankfully not all other Cowboys fans are so ignorant and are romo apoligists that can see reality.

Dallas will never have a superbowl win as long as romo is the qb and wade is the coach.

:banghead: Stupidity in motion.
